Bioshck infinite is not time travel, it doesnt make sense if it's time travel. It's other universes being revealed, different possibilities; the present is not all insync with each other that's why it's different. Like maybe in this universe they had a male version singing everybody wants to rule the world instead of a female, or that the Beach Boys song "God Only knows what I be without yous" was sung by an accapella group in 1912.
