I am *hooked* on this. It's like if EVE was a first person flight simulator with a slightly less daunting crafting & economics system. I'm 69 hours in (nice) and am just in love with this game. I'm going to be buying a VR setup just for this game. I'm trying to get my friends to get it, too, so I can see how these multi-player ships roll.

It's about two hours too long, and just gets boring as hell by the end. It was fun for the first bit, to be honest, but I've never played through a game where I spent an hour saying "god, is this over yet?" If you want a railroaded psychological horror story that's actually enjoyable to play, check out Layers of Fear.

tl/dr: if you like survival games, cowboys, and understand that early access essentially means late alpha/early beta testing and all the bugs and glitches that come with that, then buy this game.

I've played 7 hours of this, and it has promise to be a decent survival game. Overall, very playable for early access so far. It currently has a few glitches and memory issues (I play for about an hour before having to restart it because of how bad it slows down). But considering that it's early access, you should expect bugs, glitches, missing content, and big changes. One of the things I am enjoying is that the leveling system focuses around your stats and does not affect the different items you can craft. From the beginning it appears that nothing is locked away.

It seems most of the people complaining either missed that this is early access or don't understand what that means (but think they do).

If you are a fan of the Conan Universe, or survival/action games then buy this one. Even though it's early access and they are still working out bugs and introducing/fixing features this is a very playable, engaging, and immersive game. There are very great communities on many servers and there seems to be little actual griefing (unlike games like Rust where you can just expect to get murdered by a naked guy with a rock as soon as you spawn). The developers are continuously working on improving this game and regularly introduce major features and fixes. If you played this game at the release of early access and haven't touched it since, I *highly* recommend you log back in and check out all the new stuff.
