Same issues with Groove Coaster on Steam.

This game requires a constant online connection that the store page doesn't inform you about. And when a game like this with literal hundreds of dollars worth of DLC requires me to constantly be online, in a game that barely even has online functionality outside of leaderboards and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BATTLE PASS for a rhythm game, absolutely not. None of the recent reviews seem to bring this up either which is disappointing, so I will. I understand combating piracy, but when this game does inevitably shut down, and the hundreds of dollars worth of DLC no longer work, will you still ignore the lack of an offline mode?

All of this is a shame because I actually very much enjoyed the DJ Max games on PSP growing up, particularly 2 and the Clazziquai Edition, so imagine my surprise when I found out there was a more recent game on Steam, on sale, for $10, with a few Guilty Gear & Tekken tracks included? I was overjoyed, only to find out exactly how much of the game they wanted me to sink in to unlock the music from old games so that i'd break past the refund threshold, as well as always online DRM and anti-cheat, and live service slop?

Yeah, you can keep it.

It'd be one thing if this was a F2P version of Respect from the PS4, but nope, it's a paid, $40 version, with live service slop, where they made sure that ONLY THIS VERSION is the one that gets the collab DLC. So the only way to play the game offline is on the console version with less content.

You also can't fail a song under between 7-12 stars anymore, who is this game made for?

No.

Just no.

If I want Uncharted for PC, I'll just...play Uncharted on my PC.

It also doesn't help that the plot of this game is a LITERAL copy/paste of Uncharted 2.

One of the best FPS of the 90s has officially been immortalized on PC. This is a remaster of the SEGA Saturn and PS1 versions of the game, which are objectively the best ways to play it, now blended into one big SUPER REMASTER containing the best aspects of both. The original DOS PC release wasn't bad by any stretch of the word, but what Lobotomy did, and what 3D Realms in particular did with the Saturn was absolutely breathtaking.

This new release comes with all the modern amenities, bells and whistles; an uncapped framerate, UHD/4K support, 21:9 support, everything redone in Nightdive's absolute beast KEX engine, which means Vulkan support as well. New shading techniques, new technical who-zits even I know nothing about....AND A CRT FILTER!

I actually had no idea this game came out yesterday. but seeing that it did because I just so happened to open Steam and see it on the front page? Quickest $18 I've ever spent in my life, as Saturn and PS1 copies of this game can go for anywhere between $200-$800.

But yeah, that's enough rambling from me. Buy it. Play it. Do it now.

I just wanna use my controler, and it's not working.

[EDIT]
I want to expand on this.
As of now, I've currently refunded the game, with no plans to re-purchase until a controller fix is presented, or until a Booster Controller is made available.

The way this game works, is that you have two parts to your controller. Two boosters. One to the left and one to the right. Shortly after getting my controller to finally work, the game doesn't want to recognize its right booster. Meaning the right half of my keyboard, the right half of my PS4, or the right half of my 360 controllers are unrecognized by the game. That was the final straw, and led to me refunding my purchase. Which really sucks. Groove Coaster is one of if not my favorite rhythm game, and to see how terrible this port is, is actually very upsetting. Its unfinished, and was a clear cash in with goals of selling off DLC to fill pockets.
