Also greedy chewish publisher behavior.
Where western players are treated as inferior paypig cashcows compared to the players of the original version.
And because of the western treatment, others are getting hit by strays.

This is the Kuro take on Genshin Impact, and it is as inferior to their previous game as is Genshin Impact inferior to Honkai Impact 3rd.

Most of the character cast designs are boring and uninteresting compared to the characters in the previous Kuro game known as Punishing Gray Raven, the grind to upgrade the characters compared to other gacha games is long and the combat is sub-par compared to the combat in their other game, where here most of the fights having enemies do stupid delayed attacks like in newer souls games, you can adjust to this and do just fine, but I personally find it boring as almost all of the major enemies here have such attacks in their repertoire.

I have dropped this game because of the boring story which blasted me with an avalanche of uninteresting filler text flood, and me being a masochist I am, not skipping the stories in the games, I just couldn't do it.
There was a point in story where I took few steps and had to read dozens of lines of text just to take few steps again and get blasted with this again, and I wanted to just play the game.
I suppose it is just made that way to artificially extend your play time, just like Genshin Impact does.

If someone will see me playing it despite my negative review, it means I am retarded, stupid or masochistic enough and wearing a clown makeup thinking that some of the characters might be worth saving the resources and pulling for, thinking there might be an actually interesting character being released by them.

TL:DR - I do not recommend this game, if you want some interesting story and cool characters though, I'd recommend either Punishing Gray Raven from Kuro Games, or if you are into anime and like TRIGGER and Bones studio, I'd recommend Zenless Zone Zero.

EDIT: My playtime might be low, but it is because I have played this game through their own launcher before I got back to play it through Steam.

Sitting my butt in character creation, creating dandy old vampire dude to play as Tank.
Entering the game, and the voice is of a shota/teenager.

Can't even select the character voice in the character creation.
Thought it might be tied to the various female/male bodytypes but nah.

EDIT: I have created other character and will play the game.
Will change for positive if I will find the game good and they will fix the character creation voice.

The game has a kernel level anti-cheat that is badly implemented.
It keeps closing the AMD Software, the GPU behaves weird during the gameplay.
And the mouse cursor had the spinning loading icon near it in intervals,
as if the anti-cheat was doing lots of read/write operations.

If you want to play the game then do so on the mobile or emulator version.
Not the PC client with the messy implementation of kernel level anti-cheat.

Or better yet, delete the account if you haven't played for long so you will save money.

No incentive to play Mashmak (PvPvE)
There would be if the actual things you get from there would be bought by someone, so you could play it to grind stuff to get new customize options for your pilot, but the market might be also region locked and in less populated regions (EU) you get games filled with bots and people don't feel like spending much on the game I think.

No incentive to play 6v6 and 3v3 (PvP)
You play to play, only if you have the mecha game itch, and that's it. Maybe getting enough game currency to buy out the new mechs (Strikers) and to buy out the rest of the shop items.
The games are also filled with bots and from what I read it happens from low rank matches to even the matches at higher ranks.

Poor implementation of ACE anti cheat software.
Instead of doing device checks when you launch the game for the first time and you are in the main menu, it does the checks when you start your first multiplayer match after launching the game, which ends up with disabling your screen for a while when it does the device check.
The same behavior of ACE anti cheat can be observed in game called Delta Force (the free to play mmofps) but in Delta Force it does the check after you launch the game and are in the menu, so you don't end up with your pants down during the online match.

Obviously the screen thing doesn't happen to everyone, it happens to me and few other users and after a while it goes back to normal and if you were not killed you can resume playing.
But some users instead of getting back their vision, they either get a game crash or BSOD.
