I was introduced to this game by someone I could call a brother on his PS5. I was unaware that it was available on Steam and found it some time after...on sale. I purchased this game with the DLC bundle. While some say it's a complicated game to play with so many different options with weapons and gear, I did not mind grinding missions for said gear as it was very beneficial my experience. I was much more impressed with how many options they DID include in this game as most titles are a complete letdown nowadays and this game revived my hope in single player games. There are so many games today that seem to be copy and paste, but this one kept me engaged and entertained. I didn't just follow the main story and kept on with side quests and hunted for parts in the hardest areas without being bored. I put in a long 80 hours before I moved onto burning shores dlc. According to game stats, there is so much more to explore to gain 100% completion. This was no doubt, one of top five single player games of all time and I highly recommend.

As for performance with my listed specs, I had performance issues at 2k 260hz only in Plainsong and some major Tenakth bases (Base game) and (spoiler alert) Fleet's End which is a part of Burning Shore's DLC. Other than that, this game runs enjoyably on max graphics with my specs. I bought the wrong RAM when I built this PC so I have it downclocked so I can only imagine the timings being increased. Regardless, this game was a visual experience and there is soooo much to learn in this game for those who wish to dive deep into what it has to offer. You can spend a lot more time in this game than I did.

EDIT: Leaving my past review up for context's sake but since their major update, the game underperforms and is unplayable on a 4070 Ti Super. If you can't run the game on max graphics, it's not worth playing at all. Texture quality and sharpness severely degrades the moment you turn settings down. And don't even bother messing with DLSS that they recently just integrated. It makes the game look even worse...but at least you get maybe 10 extra FPS with black pixels everywhere and you can't spot enemies whatsover. I used to run this game at my monitors refresh rate (144fps) and now it's no higher than 35. LOVED this game until they dropped their latest big update and now its just unplayable and I don't even think about it being in my steam library.

For a game that is developed by two people, this game is impressive. Saw the hype on social platforms and how it pushed the limits of UE5. The graphics are photorealistic and it feels like you are genuinely there. Unique movement and hyper realistic gun control changes how you'd expect a shooter to be. Now I wasn't here for the whole "reset drama" and frankly don't care. Don't base your purchase decision off of those reviews. They clarify all their updates and reasoning for changes in their community posts. People just don't read. This game has massive potential. Tons of reworking on the way as well as many new features in development that I can't wait to see.

Only complaints are there's definitely hackers as people will know exactly where you are and shoot you without peeking coners. Also you will be kicked for playing too good which is ridiculous. Players sometimes camp a hallway like its COD II. Watch out for rookie players as they will shoot you without reason.

Overall a fantastic game and can't wait to see what's next for Bodycam!

Overall, the game is pretty nice. The guns and animations are actually good. Doesn't seem to be pay to play though there are a few guns you can pay a few cents for. The main issue is ping/latency. The server locations are Europe/Russia. The ping is like playing Pixel Gun 3D on the phone. It makes the game very unplayable and this is the reason I thumb it down. Aside from ping, a cool game and runs well on potato computers. (119 FPS on medium render on a potato computer) I hope they set up servers in america soon....this will definently improve the game.

Absoulutely awesome game! Happy I got it. Gameplay is mostly smooth and I love man vs. machine.
