Maybe I’m a spoiled gamer, but for me the gameplay feels underwhelming and boring.

The default keyboard binds aren’t very convenient or intuitive. I understand this is a port, but other Sony ports have much better and more responsive keyboard controls.
The gunfights in this game don’t feel satisfying; they somehow feel worse than in many other games.
However, I don’t think the game is bad. The graphics are beautiful, and the overall quality is decent. I fell through the textures a couple of times and had to reload from a checkpoint, but other than that I didn’t notice any bugs.

By the end, I was mostly pushing forward just to see the credits.

For most of the playthrough, I actually liked it.

The core gameplay loop works well: stylish combat, great music, beautiful scenes, interesting characters, and strong overall presentation. Even though many storylines and dialogues feel bloated, repetitive, or emotionally hollow, I was still mostly engaged while playing.

Mementos, however, are a different story - overly long, extremely repetitive, and genuinely sleep-inducing. They feel more like padding than meaningful content.

Despite all that, I was enjoying the game overall.

But then the ending happened - and it completely changed how I feel about the experience.

I romanced Kasumi, and the way her romance is handled at the end is, frankly, absolute nonsense. No amount of explanation will convince me otherwise. Kasumi is not integrated into Persona 5’s story particularly well to begin with, but as a romance character, her arc lacks basic emotional closure. She was my favorite character in the game, and seeing her treated this way felt careless and deeply unsatisfying.

To be clear: the main ending itself is fine for me. I don’t have an issue with it conceptually. I also believe that if you don’t romance Kasumi, you won’t experience this problem at all.

Still, I have never uninstalled a game this fast right after finishing it - especially one with such a strong buildup toward the finale.

Overall, I’d say I liked Persona 5 Royal more than I disliked it.
But the ending completely killed my emotional attachment to the game, because I really liked Kasumi as a character.

This review is rather neutral in spirit, but Steam forces a binary choice.
Since the ending matters a lot to me, this is a thumbs down.

for me - it was scary af, especially in the beginning, but after all, I had a great time.

Сценарист хотел добавить в DLC персонажей из оригинальной игры, но не смог придумать, как это грамотно сделать. В результате получилось достаточно бесполезное и необязательное их появление, не влияющее никак на историю.

> Сам текст вполне ничего, мне было интересно проходить. Я даже прошёлся по нему второй раз, чтобы разложить по полочкам все события в голове. Впрочем, не могу сказать, что всё идеально в нём, некоторые вещи будто не складываются, хотя может я что-то упустил.

> Выборы игрока, в отличии от основной игры, здесь почти не играют роли. В игре их всего четыре, и, как я понял, на концовку влияет только последний.

Хорошая концовка вызывает некоторые вопросы, но я не могу сказать, что с ней что-то откровенно не так.

> В результате - достаточно проходное DLC.
Учитывая всё вышесказанное, мне было интересно его проходить и у меня нет сожалений, что потратил на это 3-4 часа времени, с учётом перепрохождения.

This game is a bridge between madness and insanity. Unfortunately, before playing it, I spoiled some events, so don't repeat my mistakes)

Play this game when you feel like you are done with everything. Firewatch is a charming game with a unique, refreshing, but sad story and a breathtaking atmosphere that makes you feel completely immersed in its world.

The grasp of a fresh air.

sebastian side quests are more interesting than the mainline

Неплохая кооперативная игра на двоих с достаточно посредственным сюжетом.

Gameplay experience is incredible!
The plot is just weird and kind of mysterious, but this does not prevent you from enjoying the game but it gives a special atmosphere.
