I thought I would play a few hours at most, oh boy was I wrong. This game is a black hole that sucks up time and space and has the potential to ruin one's life

The update with the new undo button makes is so much better

Fighting sucks. Uncomfortable camera angles. Bare hand fighting style is totally useless. SO MUCH grinding weapons and armor. Uninteresting boss fights. Heat action activation timing often seems weird.
A lot of the substories are also grinding. I swear there are 10 npcs that ask for a vegetable 10 times til I get to see their story.
I have more small issues like loading screen time(worse than older games of the same franchise?), skip button time (I can't skip this cut scene of a guy walking, and then i accidentally skip some important text where it would have been nice if the game but a delay), etc

Watching the characters in period piece costumes and walking Kyoto is pretty fun.

i was disappointed at first because it felt like a brainless mobile game, then i realized there's a lot more layers of thinking to the simple game

I open this game every so often just play solitaire... Kinda stopped playing the main mission a year or two ago

i feel guilty when i play euro truck because i could be outside looking at the real sky and trees instead of indoors looking at the game sky and trees... so i usually play it on rainy days when i can't go outside. except for that, it's quite a relaxing game.

it's still fun tho
