- Vast open world with 4 regions to explore about (+1 extra region if you own Blood & Wine)
- Story setting is interesting as it deals with a world in war, with magic practitioners facing persecution.
- Characters are implemented really well, with great dialogue.
-Skill tree which allows you to adopt different playstyles.
-Even certain minor choices can have actual world-affecting consequences.
-Has 18++ scenes
-Hearts of Stone/Blood & Wine DLCs both have great stories and characters, probably an even better story than the base game.

All in all, a really good exploration RPG which also places emphasis on the choices you make affecting the story and the world. Also, don't skip out on the Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine DLCs , they're worth the money.

Warframe is a free-to-play game made by Digital Extremes (DE) where you play as super-soldier ninjas which are called warframes (as the title already says). The gameplay itself revolves around the MMO looter-shooter genre where you shoot, kill, or do missions for more loot to build and craft more gear and items.

As usual, like other games Warframe itself has its own pros, cons, and double-edged swords.

PROS:
- Fluid movement and combat system. You can basically chain parkour maneuvers with shooting, and melee combat has its own unique system with different melees able to utilise different combos and stances.
- Over 40 unique Warframes with unique personalities and playstyles. From the sword frame Excalibur, the antimatter frame Nova, the electric frame Volt, to the gluttony frame Grendel.
- Around 400 weapons, each having different and unique aspects from assault rifles to grenade launchers or energy beam rifles. Melees can range from swords to whips to large greatswords and nunchucks.
- In-depth Customization. Extreme customization of frames and companions to living quarters, allowing players to color them differently. Armor sets and capes (syandanas) are also available to further enhance customization and photo scenes to take amazing screenshots. As they say, FashionFrame is the endgame. Also, Steam Workshop allows players to submit their own skins which can be potentially be sold in-game.
- Various game modes and mini-game modes. There are open-worlds to fish and tranquilize animals for conservation, hunting down giant bosses, and even flying in space with your own spaceship.
- Graphics. The game’s graphics are really good and flashy, while the game can still run even on a low-end PC (but of course with lower adjustments to graphics quality).
- Healthy monetization model. Premium currency exists in this game known as Platinum, but all the warframes and weapons are obtainable in-game completely for free. Monetization is usually based around the “cosmetics only” philosophy, and players can earn Platinum in-game for free by trading in-game items to other players. Certain cosmetics are also not obtainable by Platinum, so players will still have to play the game and cannot just buy everything with Platinum. Purchasing Platinum is basically treated as a way for people to support the devs, without being forced to buy any Platinum. All the updates are free so there are NO DLCS OR EXPANSION PACKS.
- Passionate developers. Developers will often host weekly livestreams to interact with the community, and contests or giveaway prizes. Devstreams are hosted usually biweekly to show off WIP assets and progress on future updates. Feedback to the devs are usually quickly noted, and one of the few devs that actually listen to backlash and feedback.

CONS:
- Bugs, bugs, bugs. There are usually hotfixes every week to fix bugs in the game, while major updates will tend to have bugs riddled on them which gets immediately hotfixed a few hours later. Some bugs gamebreaking, others just funny. Sometimes, unintended bugs get turned into features.
- Very grindy/RNG based. If you are going pure free-to-play, then the game is expected to be very grindy. With tons of resources and items to obtain while rewards are based on RNG rotations, you should expect at least around 1000-2000 hours sunk into this game. Definitely not a recommended game if you aren’t expecting to spend at least 1 year on it.
- Lackluster PVP. Yes, there is a PVP mode in this game called the Conclave but it is actively avoided by the community, and even the devs acknowledge it. There is a lack of incentive to do PVP in this game, not to mention servers are client hosted so ping is an issue.
- Peer-to-peer multiplayer. This means that lag in game sessions are very dependent on who your host is and whether they can sustain a 4-man session. If your host has awful internet or PC, you’re bound for a painful game session.

DOUBLE-EDGED SWORDS:
- Feedback and game development. The developers acknowledge feedback, but it also means that they can either choose to ignore it or act on it as they seem fit while also making questionable decisions at times. Some responses are good, some bad. There are also inconsistencies at times with the game's systems, but if you're a basic player this wouldn't really hinder you.
- Community. Warframe’s community is one of the few communities that actually helps new players, and some weapons or frames being locked behind community hubs called Clans. However, it also has its bad eggs of elitists, and entitled veterans/doomsayers who usually label this game as an inferior Destiny 2 which can get annoying.
- Easy mode Difficulty. To put it, the game is exceptionally easy. Even in high levels, provided with an adequate loadout you can one-shot anything the game throws at you. For casual players who just want to relax and massacre enemies, this isn’t an issue. For people looking for challenges or the adrenaline rush, then this is the wrong game.

Personally, game is good to pick up if you are looking for a major time sink and looking for a game to relax and massacre hordes of soldiers/capitalist patriots/zombified abominations. A game has to be doing something right if you somehow have 7000 Steam hours on it.
