Bought as part of the Every Monday #66 bundle on Indiegala in 2015. 6 years later it looks like the devs have decided to revoke the key.

Glad I played it while I could, if only to check it off my list of backlogged games. It wasn't anything special compared to the wealth of top tier visual novels out there, but it was a fine waste of a couple hours. Writing is awkward, plot is eh at best, visuals are okay. An overall average experience.

Revoking the key, which was bought legitimately through a service they partnered with, after 6 years though? That's some shady stuff right there. All respect for the developer has gone down the drain and I'll be hard pressed to buy their games going forward if they're going to pull this with multiple games in their library.

Early Access Review
It hadn't yet been a day and I was starving. Without a can opener to open my prized can of beans, the rotten banana looked so good. Desperate to get something, anything, in my grumbling belly, I began peeling the fruit. It almost fell apart in my hands but I forced it down anyway. It had to be better than something.

It tasted rancid, and I fought the urge to throw up. Immediately I started to feel its effects, but knew that it had at least bought me a little time. I had to find medical attention with that time, though, and so ventured out of the shack I'd holed myself up in.

When I met the zombie I readied my hammer, though no matter how many times I hit it the creature refused to fall at my feet. Finally, after what seemed like hours of beating on it while it tore at my flesh, it slumped to the ground. Another obstacle down, though now I was bleeding. A lot.

My frantic run to find a house to raid turned into a walk, which turned to a stumble quickly after that. I leaned against the white picket fence of a house, my eyes unfocused. I was so close, but despite how much I willed my body to take one more step, nothing happened.

The voices came as I collapsed, fierce and authoritative. Everything was fading, but I still heard the man shout, "She's dying! We have to save her!"

I felt hands around me, but was too tired to open my eyes. Voices bickered back and forth while the hands worked, and somehow I felt better just knowing I wasn't going to die alone.

When I finally worked up the strength, I saw that I was surrounded by three men, all eagerly waiting for me to say I was okay.

"Thank you so much," I croaked weakly, "But... unless you have something to counteract rotten fruit... I'm afraid I'm still going to die."

Their smiles flipped upside down at the reveal. One of them, the leader by the looks of it, stepped forward and asked solemnly, "Did you want us to hold a ceremony for you?"

I nodded in agreement. It was good to know that there was some semblance of tradition in this destroyed land.

They gathered around me, forming a circle, their heads bowed. Then, without warning, they raised their hands to the sky and began to lean left and right. They chanted the word 'ceremony' over and over, the words becoming fluid with their motions.

They kept me company like this until I slipped away into the darkness minutes later.
