A beautiful entry into the indie "walking simulator" genre but failed to impress.

PROS:
Visually pleasing as hell.
Solid Intro, quick but got the needed information across.
Great voice acting.

CONS:
Story was underwhelming, could of been so much more, ending felt cheap.
Very little use of the soundtrack, which is unlike alot of other indie realeases.
Very minimal exploring besides the pre determined paths, the climbing/rapelling mechanic felt sluggish and uninteresting.
Short as hell.

The characters didn't really grab me all to well, and the main relationship developed too much off screen.
While visually pleasing exploring the area left much to be desired.
Overall I don't recommend unless you get it on sale for $5

This game suprised me as a very solid game to come out of a franchise has had it far share of extreme ups and downs. It has a solid story, better multiplayer, and a fun take on free running that adds whole new levels of mobility. It does have its issues though with the whole internet campaign faisco i explain below, a short story, and Overpowered LMGS that make campaign a breeze.

The Story
It is pretty short, even on higher difficulties with multiple respawns.
It falls for the same psychedelic/dream "is this really hapening" stuff that i've been sick of ever since i first expereinced that weak trope in Far Cry 3.
You either play it connected to the internet or a whole new campaign offline. So it can mildly infurating if you have sketchy internet, as you will be brought back to the menu if your connection drops in the middle of the firefight.
Also the LMGS are pretty OP which can be fun or boring depending on your view. I pretty much used the first one you unlock through the whole story just adding upgrades here and their.

Multiplayer
Its great fun running and jumoing around your opponents, the jetback/wall running adds a lot.
That said if an enemy has high ping it can be a nightmare trying to hit them.
I haven't played eniugh multi to form a full opinion (only level 15) But I will revisit this review when prestiged.

Overall I recommend BO3 even with its issues, its still good fun. I do feel though the game is probably better on console or with a controller as the amount of controls you need can be demanding, with your cybernetic powers, rocket launcher stuff, it takes alot of different keys and fooling around with different bindings to get it right.

A game unlike many others. I got to be a microwave with legs and shoot pizza at goats.
