The Key of Solomon (Latin: Clavicula Salomonis; Hebrew: מַפְתֵּחַ-שְׁלֹמֹה, romanized: Map̄teḥa Šəlomo), also known as the Greater Key of Solomon, is a pseudepigraphical grimoire attributed to King Solomon. It probably dates back to the 14th or 15th century Italian Renaissance. It presents a typical example of Renaissance magic.[citation needed]

It is possible that the Key of Solomon inspired later works, particularly the 17th-century grimoire known as The Lesser Key of Solomon or Lemegeton, although there are many differences between the books.
