Just to clarify, the gameplay is pure gold in my opinion, but the promises the company made years ago haven't been kept so that disappoints the whole player base. By repairing what they have done wrong might set the future of the game on a right course and keep the haters and those who enjoy the game on an even keel. Hopefully, by seeing the big quantity of negative reviews, the devs will decide to make something better and keep the promises at the end of the day. Moreover, they will undoubtedly make more money if they give us the whole pve missions at once with a stable price, rather than offering us an 1-hour gameplay that costs 15 euros every few months until the ''grand finale'' which will, of course, cost more than others.

But even though we hope for a brighter future, the company decides what they want to do with their product's destiny. If they care about our opinion, they will take necessary measures to satisfy us, if not, the legendary game Overwatch could have been, with a great and inspiring story, unique voice lines and a smooth gameplay, will most probably lose their biggest fans that enjoyed not only the game itself, but what it was meant to express through the gorgeously written characters.

Subnautica: Below Zero is a captivating and immersive survival-adventure game that builds upon the success of its predecessor, Subnautica. Developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, Below Zero takes players on a thrilling journey to an alien, frozen underwater world.

The game's storyline revolves around a researcher named Robin, who sets out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her sister on Planet 4546B. Unlike the lush tropical environment of the original Subnautica, Below Zero introduces us to an icy, harsh landscape filled with unique biomes and treacherous creatures. The attention to detail in the game world is outstanding, with stunning visuals and realistic water effects that enhance the sense of depth and immersion.

One of the standout features of Below Zero is the seamless integration of exploration and survival mechanics. Players must manage their oxygen levels, hunger, thirst, and body temperature while delving into the unknown. Crafting and building play a crucial role as players gather resources to create tools, vehicles, and shelters to survive the harsh environment. The game strikes a perfect balance between challenging gameplay and rewarding progression, keeping players engaged for hours on end.

The diverse marine life in Below Zero is both fascinating and terrifying. From adorable penguins to colossal leviathans, encounters with the various creatures evoke a sense of wonder and fear. The game cleverly uses sound design and atmospheric cues to heighten tension during encounters, making exploration an exhilarating experience.

The storyline unfolds through well-crafted audio logs and in-game dialogue, further immersing players into the protagonist's journey. As players uncover the truth behind the planet's secrets, they'll find themselves emotionally invested in Robin's quest for answers.

--CONS HIGHLIGHTS--
However, Below Zero is not without its minor flaws. Some players might find the pacing a bit slow at times, and occasional technical hiccups can briefly disrupt immersion. Such example would consist of the times where you find yourself without a specific material and be needed to explore different biomes in order to find what you require. Sometimes it may become repetitive, but it will make the player better consider what they need to craft an item. Moreover, some movement bugs should be taken into consideration by the developers, for example, entering a cave or a room can often be accompanied by an inadequate collider that slows down player's pace, as well as going up a stair case. Yet, the developers have consistently provided updates to address these issues, showcasing their dedication to the community.

--CONCLUSION--
In conclusion, Subnautica: Below Zero is a remarkable sequel that successfully expands upon the strengths of the original game. With its enthralling storyline, stunning visuals, and engaging gameplay mechanics, Below Zero offers an unforgettable underwater adventure that will keep players hooked from start to finish. Whether you're a fan of survival games, exploration, or simply seeking an immersive narrative-driven experience, Subnautica: Below Zero is a must-play.
