RiME is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking games I’ve ever played, it broke me in ways I wasn’t prepared for. The game takes what I fear and dislike most about life and turns it into an incredible experience. It shows you that life moves on, and so should you even when it feels hard and impossible. The past is behind you, and the only thing you can truly change is what happens next.

The landscapes are incredible and thoughtfully designed to represent the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Each area is stunning in its own way, and the soundtrack complements it perfectly, capturing a wide range of emotions.

The story is deeply moving, especially when you collect items like the keyholes and find the white ghosts. This not only adds depth but makes the ending even more powerful. I won’t spoil anything, but the way the story is told with all the small details and subtle hints makes it all the more impactful. It’s masterfully done.

The puzzles aren’t too difficult, so even someone like me (with a "monkey cave brain") can solve them. There are plenty of collectibles as well, but they're not hard to find if you take the time to explore.

Overall, RiME is a profoundly sad and beautiful game that affected me deeply. I’m so glad I played this masterpiece. It made me smile, broke my heart, and even made me cry. What starts as a seemingly cute adventure game suddenly turns into something far deeper and more emotional than I ever expected.
