Prayers for all.
Yet, there is no escape from these economic values, unless something fundamentally changes about how we have organized the world, which is far from likely. I am simultaneously convinced that the humanities are essential to the well-being of humanity, and also that it is inevitable that they will perish. In the long run---perhaps over the next few decades---the death of the humanities will make the world duller, less imaginative, less vividly alive. But few who will be around then will be able to recognize that, and even fewer will be able to explain why. It will not be a relevant question any more.
This is evident in how Russians were perceived in Western Europe: as “not quite white” and, moreover, disturbingly close to those “truly white,” like a mirror reflecting hidden fears and complexes. But even if we assume, purely for operational purposes, that Russians and other Slavs are conditionally white, their majority within the Soviet empire was socially fragile and unstable. For this reason, describing that empire as “white” would be imprecise. Demographics look even worse today, and the figure of h0m0 sovieticus as an ethnic creole raised in Russian culture and Soviet ideology has long since ceased to exist.
"Trans feminism"... Blah. What is that even?
I'm really big on investigating the impacts of pesticides and herbicides on the human genome and holding the companies responsible for the mass mutation of human sexuality accountable.
