I just found this game in my library, no idea where I got it from. Surely I don't remember buying it. Guess it was gifted to me at some point but I can't recall?
It's a good educational game, raising awarness about sexual abuse stands out as the main message that game conveys through the engaging process of building an amusement park. Although the plot solely focuses on the men's experience, I wouldn't dismiss this as insensitive or ignorant - the story feels very personal and there certainly was a reason why the creators brought the topic of male victims to light in this particular case.
Although the game is not suitable for very young children, it might help older individuals process their experience if they have suffered from any kind of sexual abuse, or give those who hasn't ever given it much thought an idea of what it's like to go through something like this. Given that in our society men are much less likely to admit to having experienced this or to be open to empathise with those who has, I think it's an important topic to bring up for discussion.

I would only recoomend this game to my enemy to people with certain mental conditions which I won't mention here to stay polite and other sick twisted individuals who enjoy doing the same thing over and over again without a satisfying payoff while every single thing in the environment around you tries to obstruct your progress in the most trolling way effectively making the game as annying as possible.

It feels like every aspect of the game mechanics was purposefully created in a way to bully the player and drive them to despair.

There were rare moments in this game when I felt like I'm suddenly enjoying it but every time this feeling evaporated in 1-2 hrs and then I kept dragging through the game hoping for another spark of joy which may or may not happen.

The main character is very slow, it takes him forever to get on / dismount a bike, it takes him even longer to do the same with a truck. I won't even start on BTs - everything about them is annoying. I tried to avoid them as much as possible, just riding through their territory when crossing it was absolutely mandatory by the main story. Everywhere you go is a BT territory to which Sam reacts with a chocking sound and Bibi reacts with a subsequent scanner opening scene - both are very frequent and very slow. When you proceed to the BT territory, Bibi starts crying louder and louder and you have to soothe it in the midst of the bloody BT minefield as if you have nothing better to do. Because if you don't the crying will get off the rail and multiplied by the liquid tar monsters around you will drive you to complete madness. Good for you if you can ignore a crying baby, I apparently cannot. Another thing that makes me angry - there is no way to exterminate all the BTs in a territory to wipe it off the map for good. They keep resurrecting time after time creating another tedious and repetitive task in this game.

A few words on the open world of this game. It is indeed very beautiful in its own way yet desolate and dilapidated. No animals, no people, no life - just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BTs. You deliver parcels to people yet only talk to holograms with rare expections. You arrive at terminals but never see the actual cities beneath them. The profound loneliness of this game is sometimes very depressing and leaves a lingering feeing of sadness that stays with you even after you turn off the PC.

Honestly, I just suffered for the most of this game and I haven't even finished. Why do I keep playing it then?

Apparently, I got so hooked by the story in the very beginning, got so very intrigued by Amelie Bridget that I wanted to see and experience it all. And yes I am that rare person who likes those cutscenes. This is just unfortunate that some aspects of this game's story touched me so deeply that I can't quit.

To sum it up, this game has decreased my quality of life. I was happier before I started playing it. I cannot recommend it to anyone I woudn't be happy to see in pain.

Realistic simulator of medieval life with a horrendous gameplay

Upd: the more I play this game, the more I hate it

Would recommend if you are a European history nerd, otherwise - avoid & install the Witcher 3 instead
