Early Access Review
Devs are slowly but surely updating, game feels incredibly solid, styling is amazing and overall a great farm sim / chill game. Absolutely for anyone who loves Stardew Valley

This might seem like a chill game to play with your partner. And it is. But it's also the most hardcore thing to play with your partner. Also, f*** Pierre

I just love it. Fun gameplay, great story, lovely graphics and runs pretty smoothly. Not too hard, not too easy, the only thing I don't really like is the online mode, it's a bit boring.

Overall, my favourite game of the year, 9/10

This is very complicated for me...
To be completely fair with the devs, I don't think this was a bad game. The story is nowhere as near as good as the first one, although it had more potential. I think the game could've done with more development time, as there are some bugs and it doesn't feel as polished as you might expect.

You know the pros, it's a Subnautica game, let's get to the
Cons:

-Doesn't feel polished.
-Story could have been better.
-Exploration doesn't feel as rewarding as the first game, specially when it comes to the lore.
-Lots of bugs.
-Land movement feels really weird and it plays a big role in the game.

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

Al-An is kind of charming to me. I liked its design overall, and its body is so cool.
I love all the small talk and the conversations about emotion and feelings, it builds characters in a way that's not overly dramatic and sometimes quite funny.

I feel like Robin wasn't that great of a protagonist. Don't get me wrong, she's not bad, but the whole story with her sister feels... Empty.

I loved egg-hatching. The creatures are so cute, I really enjoyed that aspect of the game, spent some hours just on that.
Overall, I liked the new aliens, leviathans in this one are so. damn. cool. The ghost leviathan is simply put, chef's kiss.

Base building is better, but I wish it was a bit more than just place foundation place multipurpose room place ♥♥♥♥ inside BOOM you still need an energy source. As I said countless times, it feels under developed. No one would've been mad if it came in 2022 instead of 2021.

Conclusion:

Eh, it's a good game. I recommend it. I wish it was more, but it's still good. I'll update the review when I finish everything.

Great game, good mechanics, a beautiful art style and a really nice soundtrack. Never thought owning a shop could be so much fun. 7.5/10

Great game, to be honest a little short. Loved the gameplay, great graphics even without RTX and surprisingly good optimization, never went under 60 fps with everything maxed out with my Ryzen 7 2700 and my RX5700XT, avg was around 80 fps? Anyways, so I started blasting. The mechanics are kind of weird but you get used really fast, it all feels natural and makes you feel in control (hah), the only thing you miss is a bit more fluidity in the movement, maybe some more animations for like, dodging and jumping.
The story is great, it's an 8/10 for me. A bit heavy, a bit confusing at times, but overall I loved it. If you liked Alan Wake you'll like it.

The graphics are good, as stated before, I love the aesthetic, and combined with pretty clever map design it all mixes into some kind of like, visual brownie that you will definitely enjoy. The title you get every time you go into a new zone is my ♥♥♥♥.

But oh boy here we go into the bad things:
What. Is. The. Dubbing. It feels so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy, not to disrespect anyone, but it feels like the whole thing was made with a next-day-deadline, voices in English are not that bad but if you're from Spain, please, put the subtitles on. I love voice acting, and this game's is a massacre.

Also, the mechanics end up being a bit repetitive because some enemies are so tanky you'll end up wasting 5 minutes dodging and shooting a few times. The different weapons make up for it tho, but I wouldn't blame anyone for playing it in god mode since the story is so good.
Although... The story feels so lineal. Maybe too much lineal at times. You don't really have many choices to make, and the game makes you want them.

Overall the game is a 7.5/10 for me, I definitely recommend it. It might be worth the 40€ it's listed at but if you're not convinced just wait for it to be in sale.

was gud

Just finished the game, want a review?
Have you ever loved Jedi Academy?

Well, this is it. But mixed with Bloodborne-like combat and Uncharted platforming. It has everything you would it to have, from the storyline, to lightsaber customisation, all in between incredible characters and an adorable companion.
It's full of references, silly jokes, dramatism and breathtaking landscapes for you to explore and admire.

More into the technical aspects:
Graphics: Solid 8/10, not the best, but definitely some of the best looking. Everything fits perfectly (maybe except the Wookiees). Visually astonishing with gameplay that enhances the cinematic soul of the game. Lacks a bit of optimisation, although nothing really serious.
Gameplay: Hell, where should I start. I'd give it a 9/10 right now, but a 7/10 on launch. The mechanics will make you think you're playing Sekiro, and with the game in max difficulty, the challenge stands up to that statement. It was kind of buggy on launch, with weird physics and good 'ole windmill corpses, but has been fixed.
Story: I like it, it's like they wanted to make a game the same way they made Rogue One. It's not direct to the main story. But with strong characters and beautiful storytelling, they make up for it. Granted, it's still a Star Wars game, expect the narrative to be somewhat straight-forward, just the same way the films are. Dive into the lore for a deeper experience and understanding of the meaning of every chapter that you play through.

So; all in all, I think this is a great game. One of the best Star Wars games ever made, with the only thing lacking IMO is an online mode and maybe story DLCs.

I wanted this game to fail, but it had the high ground.

First I'll get to the goods and the bads.

Goods:
-Good story.
-Nice balance in the difficulty settings; you can make the game easy or hard enough for you.
-Great mechanics and battle system.
-Charming visuals if you're into cell-shading.
-Replayability and post-game are quite extensive.
-Hours of gameplay, tons of them.
-Incredible soundtrack.
Bads:
-Sometimes it's easy to break; making you reload saves that might be far away.
-Not all the mechanics and items are as easy to pick up as someone might expect.
-Quite a bad port, textures aren't great and framerate is capped, problems with V-Sync. Granted, it's an old game, but still not a good port.
-Maybe a bit on the lenghty side without guides.

So, now, with my opinions.

This is the game of my childhood, so I'm extremely biased. I loved it, every single time I played it, and ended up completing it 15 times on the GameCube, 3 of them being 100% which is quite challenging. Characters are great, they are constantly evolving in what in my opinion is a great story line. The visuals were nice back in the day, although now a bit of an overhaul is absolutely needed (There are texture packs for the game if you so desire). The soundtrack is incredible, maybe a bit too synth-y, but absolutely a masterpiece. I ended up spending about 2k hours on the game on the gamecube alone and I'm absolutely going to spend at least 200 more now that I have it on Steam.
It's a classic. One of the best JRPG's that we've ever seen in my opinion.

It's pretty good! Like the idea, and as long as the state of the game, it's quite okay IMO.
Played only one game for now (won hehe) but the mechanics are really easy to pick up and seem like quite challenging to master. Looking forward to see how it develops. 3.3/5
