For all the optimisation issues this apparently has, the worst I experienced in 50+ hours was a few minor crashes and an occasional bit of stutter, which surprises me since my GPU is the minimum recommended and I have been running it at max settings and completed the story without issue. Maybe I just got lucky.

Anyway, performance aside, this builds heavily upon the themes, gameplay and customisation of Fallen Order, and if you are invested in the storyline, characters, world-building, etc I think it improves upon them in pretty much every possible way. The new open-world level design may not be for everyone, as I think there's a lot to be said about the linearity of FO, but personally I found it really enjoyable and spent an unholy amount of time exploring, looking for secrets and new areas.

So basically, if you're invested in this series and enjoyed the first game I highly recommend picking this up on sale, though by other's reviews it seems a bit touch-and-go whether you'll experience major performance issues. Shame on EA for releasing this without proper optimisation as I thought the game itself was truly something special.
