Red Dead Redemption 2 meets Ghost of Tsushima meets Devil May Cry.

All for free.

No reason to not try it out.

Early Access Review
Easily one of the coziest and most adorable shop sims ever. It's Supermarket Simulator without all the things I don't like about Supermarket Simulator, plus a little Minecraft.

This is the issue with Obsidian-style shooters. You attract a lot of "shooter" fans, and this game isn't about the shootybits.

This game is MOSTLY dialogue, story, choice, exploration, humor, reading, etc. And the shooting is only the stuff you do as part of the story. If you're looking for another "Borderlands," you're going to be disappointed.

This game is closer to Fallout: New Vegas than anything. No one remembers New Vegas for the shooting. But if you like the New Vegas-style of storytelling, this is your vibe.

[For those wondering how to quit the game, go into the Options Menu and hit Start/Esc]

Initial impressions:

Overall positive, it's very close to the Clap Hanz games with some QoL stuff that can be worked out. Putting feels a bit different than previous EG/Hot Shots/ECEG games. I would say overall it feels like a "sleeker" version from a UI perspective but that's not necessarily a great thing. I do miss the days of the "Rectangle" shot meter, which is now a line, which gives the impression of requiring greater accuracy, even if it doesn't mechanically.

Honestly it's just nice to have an entry on PC, even though I do wish it had a little more of that Clap Hanz "charm" to it.

This game is awesome and the removal of forced PVP for the endgame is the reason I'll put ANOTHER 200+ hours into it.

Other than some rough DLC practices, this is the closest you'll get to a traditional Beatmania experience since Konami refuses to localize classic Bemani stuff on any accessible US platform.

I find this more enjoyable than other VS-clones. I would put this on par with the original VS as far as fun factor. The music is awesome too.

If you liked the first game, you know you will likely enjoy this one as well, but I will say enjoy the journey and not the destination. The game itself is more interesting than the "conclusion."

The absolute best rhythm shooter out there man. Everything looks, feels, and sounds amazing. Top marks to this team and their efforts. This is gonna be a go-to "veg out and play a video-game-ass-video-game" for years to come. Even if metal isn't your genre, you owe it to yourself to at least try out the demo.

Don't let the reviews talking about the game length dissuade you. This game is designed to be played over and over again. Much like you'd listen to your favorite album/playlist over and over again, you do so with these levels and these weapons. This isn't a game to be "beaten," it's a game to be "played."

This is probably my favorite Yakuza game, and one of my favorite jRPGs of all time. I really hope they continue Kasuga's story, or at very least, the jRPG format in future Ryu Ga Gotoku titles.
