I have played Counter Strike from the early day of 1.6. Back in the days we used to feel all maps are very terrorists biased. GO balances these maps really well between the teams. Not to mention so many new maps and game modes are available. While I bought this game, it must be noted that such a gem has been made free. If you have steam, then you must have this.

Amazing! Fast paced, dodge instead of cover, not easy, and without any aim assistance. And super enjoyable. A true first person shooter. Amazing!

Black Mesa is very well made! Somehow it is modern but at the same time has the charm of the original. For anyone playing it as a new game, this is your chance to witness how the revolution of immersive story telling started. For anyone playing for nostalgia, it is packing a lot of magic!

I have now lost count of how many times I have re-played this game.

There should be a disclaimer that this will install some uplay garbage on my system. WIll not recommend. Uplay took half hour to get installed on my rock solid internet speed and completely ruined the experience of the game. It had the audacity to ask to login to some garbage service to actually play the game. Will not recommend at all.

The platforms are unfair at places given we are effectively in a 2D world, depth precision is expected in movements and jumps, sometimes visually obscured platformed are expected to be guessed.

You get used to this slight annoyance in an otherwise fantastic game. Quite atmospheric and those graphics! It is highly recommended.

This game is absolutely amazing. I have played it quite a few times, the suit just gives so much variety to the gameplay. The general shooting is complete riot, super! Not to mention the graphics for which this was notorious back in the days, haha.

I used to have the EA's Limited Edition, which I believe I lost, but now recently I bought on steam. Just make sure not to install the garbarge it brings with it: gamespy, comrade and punkbuster. See if you can cancel installing those things, quite sure it will work. I let that garbage install and then uninstalled them, the game works perfectly well. (Otherwise I would have asked for a refund and put a "not recommended" over here).

Its quite price! Get it!
