Ok that's at least some info. Snakebite's a third-party app to MGSV. Does it work under WINE? If it does, the task comes down to setting WINEPREFIX to the path to the game's wineprefix and running the app inside of it probably.

The path to the prefix is $HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/<app_id>/pfx

If it doesn't... well, that would be a bit of a problem. The obvious paths from that point onward are:
* Pester WINE devs with a bugreport on the app
* Pester the app devs with a bugreport on not working on WINE
* Writing your own mod manager for Linux.

Maybe all of the above.

The phantom pain. Metal Gear Solid V. I want to install mods on linux. apparently an exe called Snakebite is used. problem is, mgsv uses wine to run through steam and snakebite doesnt have a linux version
