Personally, not for me.

I've played both in the alphas and the current open beta.
My friends and I were avid players of Splitgate 1 - but Splitgate 2 is is... complicated.

Unethical:
- Including a shop in the public beta.
- Making beta testers pay to gain the title of "beta tester"
- The servers are being overloaded from players and the devs still demand bots be in "every game" when they try to make themselves look a community focused studio.

Frustrating:
- The menu system is disappointing. Specific functions like changing the portal controls back to classic were too hard to find in the menus.
- The key-bind menu was too hard to find as it looks too similar to background text / header.
- Menus are too similar. In a fast paced game like Splitgate 2, easy to navigate menus are important.

Dissappointing;
- I feel like it's gone downhill since the closed alphas. I played the alphas for over 40 hours I enjoyed it so much, but it just feels too different in a bad way. It's a general gut-feeling, and not a good one.
- The move away from the whole e-sports feel was appreciated in the alphas, but I feel they have shifted back towards their earlier game model, and to me it's a little bit noxious.

Appreciated:
- The range of accessibility options in the menu, including the wide range of colourblind options.
- The map creator! Wow! What an asset to the community. That's huge!!! (that being said, I haven't seen it yet)
- The shift of map design closer to the original game. The original maps feel touched up and refreshing to play in such a way that made all my friends smile.
- The devotion the game staff have to the international community and to helping folks' issues get solved.

This game lets you live out your CIA backed personal fantasies.
10/10 - This is why Aliens don't talk to us.

I am absolutely god dang enamoured with this vidya' game.
First 10 hours playing was absolute hell, so were the next 10 hours after that.
I musta' died and made a hundred new characters, but it taught me how *not* to play the game, and now I know the early-game like the back of my hand.

I must note that I especially like the sandbox mode, so I can fine-tune it to how I see fit.
The workshop mods are also a big saving grace, this game is just too dang good.
It's like playing the sims, but in nightmare mode.
Dang man. There's nowhere like Kentucky.

PS. do *not* get emotionally invested in your survivors.

Straight up- if you like Obsidian's fallout games, you'll love this one.

The story's pretty good, nice and long. But the ending leaves me wanting more.
The ending is similar to the Fallout: New Vegas ending, and it seems this game is trying its hardest to emulate FNV without ultimately being it.

The 2 DLC are pretty good, I did have hopes they would be better, especially Gorgon.
Murder on Eridanos was a really good DLC, straight up. One thing Obsidian definitely does well is write detective mysteries.

Don't buy this game for its combat, because you're going to be disappointed. Though the rare and elusive science weapons do spice it up a bit, especially when you give them to companions. Very fun.

Don't buy this game & DLC at full price, definitely get it on discount.
It's worth it though. It had a very good story.

I can't wait to see how Obsidian builds upon it in the years to come, because they definitely left room for a sequel.

Damnit! I only bought this game. Make sure you don't do what I did and mess-up. Metro 2033 Redux was AMAZING, buy it, with the bundle, now. Just do it..

Also door knocking simulator.
