This game is just a straight downgrade from the first one in almost every way.

Devs keep delaying basic accessibility features like rebinding keys. You can't even reread messages people send you while cleaning ffs. These are then framed as features "some" people want rather than just a basic thing that should literally be in every game at this point. They're already talking about DLC before fixing anything I've mentioned btw.

I'm philosophically opposed to recommending this game, much like The Fun Pimps are philosophically opposed to allowing the players to have any agency over how WE want to play.

This DLC gives you the most OP weapon in the game.

I know this game is supposed to be realistic, but if you need 4 paragraphs of explanation per quest telling the player how to do something, I think it's a sign the system in question is a little too complicated.

Then again, maybe I'm just not the audience for this game.

I think the first part with the cars is supposed to be a "oh wow this game is harder than I thought" moment, but instead it just feels immediately RNG with when you roll off the roof, how many cars are coming, where they are, your momentum, etc. So like 5 minutes in, the game is already not about skill but luck.

Going by what others have said, it only gets worse from here, so I'm just gonna quit while I'm ahead.

I moved my mouse 5mm to the right and accidentally clicked the wrong prompt, and my character walked all the way back to the ship and left instead of picking up the 1 item we came there for. Immediately uninstalled.

TLDR: You have 21 days to complete the story or you lose. The game wastes your time at every turn, then blames you for failing.

This game is so overtuned and annoying (yes, even on Eden Mode, as the developer keeps responding to every single negative review). I don't even care how it ends anymore, I'm so done.

The developer keeps insisting they want you to have a sense of urgency and that's why they limit your story to 21 days only, but then they turn around and do things like adding arbitrary timers when you thought you'd brought all the items you needed, i.e. "oh you brought the 3 required items, but it's not that simple. Now roll the dice until you get a total of 500 points."

Example (no spoilers): On one escape route, you've used multiple days of preparation just to be able to access the area in the first place, then you get to the final part and are told that you need a lot of energy or you can't proceed. What if it's 3am and you don't have time to rest, and you don't have energy items in your desk? Oh well, wait another day of your very short window of opportunity. The next night when you come back and are more prepared, you use all your energy only to find out there's a random boss fight at the end, and you had zero prior warning. Hope you specced into strength and have combat perks. If not, F you.

The game swings wildly from having way, WAY too many resources, to having too little of everything. Also really loved the part (this is sarcasm btw) where I was stuck in lockdown in my cell for 2 whole days during the last week. I mean, do we care about the 21 day limit, or don't we?

I don't, I'm done with this game.

I LOVE this game, but it literally hit 1.0 and was immediately abandoned. If that's not a reason to recommend against buying, idk what is.
