I'm completely serious when I say rolling dice has never been this fun. Nowhere else can yahtzee make you laugh, cry, and jam the ♥♥♥♥ out all at the same time.

An addicting gameplay loop, cute characters and visuals, and one of my favorite soundtracks from 2019 make this a game I CANNOT recommend enough.

An absolute treat to play for the first time. A bit of a mechanical learning curve for those not too experienced with fighting games, but seeing yourself improve and get a handle around the game's combat and timing is immensely satisfying.

Most significantly though, Bayonetta's wild, campy, and over-the-top storytelling and style feels incredibly fresh in 2021, which makes it all the more amazing that this released in 2009. What a blast of a game.

A high-concept magical realist point-and-click adventure about the erosion of American life under capitalism. One of the best games of the 2010s and one of the most profound games I've played. They also recently added a render mode that makes the game aliase to look like a 90s point-and-click game. Give it a look.

Open-world Danganronpa Ace Attorney tropical cosmic horror vaporwave detective game with a cast of rejected Metal Gear Solid bosses? It's everything you've ever wanted and more.

Oh! And it's got a city-pop OST. You've gotta play it.

This game was a really delightful, pleasant surprise for a visual novel. It may look like mere furry bait, but Winds of Change actually hides an entertaining fantasy story.

Essentially if you took a Fire Emblem story line (one of the better ones, that is), compressed it to a reasonable 14 hour playtime, paired it with consistently adequate voice acting, and actually took your audience for a bit of an emotional ride, you'd have Winds of Change.

Even if you're not into furry or whatever, if you want a tasteful (sfw) fantasy visual novel, I'd urge you to give this game a shot. I sure as hell enjoyed it a lot.

A thought-provoking foray into the process of designing and creating. If you're a creator, I recommend picking this one up. If you make video games, absolutely go and play this game.

Fez is a game that takes what was wonderful about video games of the past, and intertwines them with more modern and innovative ideas of our current generation of games. The environments and ambience are breath-taking, the gameplay stays refreshing, and the fez-adorned hero Gomez, is as fun to play as as he is adorable...

While Fez may not have a lot of back-story, the heart of Fez lies in the gameplay and environments. While Fez appears to be a platformer at heart, Fez is even more so a challenging puzzle game that encourages "outside-the-box" thinking constantly. Simpler puzzles involve manipulating the world in it's 2D to 3D perspective, while more complicated ones require decoding a fictional language of odd shapes and tetrinomos. Be warned, you may become frustrated and be forced to turn to the internet in some cases (at some point, you will need to scan a QR code to find out the button combination for a puzzle, those without smartphones may have a difficult time).

Some of Fez's critics say that the game tries to hard to be "indie". While some are obligated to say such, I believe that Fez imbraces it's own "indie quirkiness" in a way that is enjoyable, and artistic. Even if you are not a fan of older games, Fez is a must buy for those who can appreciate a passionatly crafted and artistic game like this.
