Where do I begin? Well, I simply won't for the most part because the overwhelmingly positive steam reviews should say enough! Capcom has been on a definite roll recently and that's coming from a man that has always respected Capcom but has never been a big fan of their games simply because I'm a bit new to Resident Evil (always played a little but never got into it until recently) and I've never really been too deep into their fighting games. Overall, this game is a pure gem and well worth the cost of entry. Yeah, I'm only a few hours in but I'm glued to this bad boy and that's for good reason. Everything here is top tier and offers something fresh and unique yet seemingly familiar and that's coming from a man who has a steam account that's well over 20 years. I guess that's enough talking about it for now, I have new upgrade, lore, and bad AI to conquer. Don't hesitate to pick this bad boy up because we need more solid titles like this in our gaming lives and they should definitely be supported for delivering us this knockout title!

This game is complete bad ass and I totally believe in the vision this guy has here. The game looks amazing, runs smoothly, and the combat is butter booty tight. I really dig the way the guns operate in reference to loading them up and the addictive cycle of the being a loot goblin just keeps you wanting to do run after run. I probably should go to bed at the time of writing this but I just lost all of my best gear and I'm kinda pissed and need to get back to earning all my loot. Hell, I haven't even made it out of the first low level area yet and I'm having a blast. The portion where I'm at is pretty slow paced, but that's a large part of the fun. You know, building up your resources as you prepare for what's ahead and it's hell, man.

In a way, the game is helping me to slow down, breathe, and take things in a bit instead of always being gun-ho when it comes to my general play style. I under estimated the enemies and their AI which can be surprising at times. They will retreat, they'll hunt you down, take cover, all of that good stuff in a seemingly realistic manner but of course it still needs a little bit of time to get even better. What's here is really nice and should be respected, protected, and enjoyed with an optimistic mindset. I honestly figured it wasn't enough content to reel me in as I wasn't really blown away by the demo but I could see that the game was headed in the right direct and looked forward to the EA release. I hesitated at first and said I would just dip my toes in but I'm well past the return time now and I wouldn't return it if I could...

Overall, support the mission, support the vision, and enjoy the game as it bakes because the water is just fine and now is the time to dive on in... At a price of $14.00 for EA initial release, you'd be a mad man to pass this bad boy up!

I've played the demos of other simulator games in the past and I thoroughly enjoyed what I played but not enough to purchase the full version of the games. I played the demo to this game for every bit of around 5 minutes and immediately picked it up and haven't looked back. There's always something to do, there's surprises that unfold each day and overall it's just a genuinely good time. I'm not sure if it reinvents the wheel because I don't "main" this genre of games but I'm glad this is my first complete entry into the genre because this is has obviously learned from other titles in the past, taken all of the good, and revised everything and presented it in a form factor (movie rentals) that hasn't been done before... On top of that, I mean, my Steam account is around 23 years old so I'm about as retro as it gets... Yeah, this takes me back to the good ole days and that My Friends is pure SACRED.

This game is a testament towards growth, passion, commitment, and diligence! The Dev Team has done what should be done for a 2nd part of an amazing title and I have instantly fallen in love with their work. Yes, the game isn't complete at this point but what is here alludes to a journey of epic proportions. It is to the point that I take pauses despite wanting to dive in and never look back, as a means of savoring and stretching this experience. I have not personally experienced many bugs thus far, to be fair, I have had only one audio glitch that took place and it was fixed after shutting the game down and starting it back up again.

In reference to the character creator? I feel that though some of the male creations could be a little more masculine, I never would have even thought about any of those type of features if it were not for the comments from other gamers. In comparison to Baldur's Gate 3, which I have play BG games since I was a child starting at the very first one, I must say the general fun factor for me is generally much higher than the fun factor in Baldur's Gate. I find the game's combat more enjoyable, the UI is more pleasant to look at, and the graphics are on par with BG3's graphic level albeit of a different design choice.

What a lot of later adopters of BG3 may not realize is that BG3 was released in Early Access in a very similar state as Solasta 2. It would actually be quite blasphemous for someone that experienced both game's EA state to bash this game in any way because they are on the same tier (albeit this is an Indie Game that is actually of a "lower production value/tier/bracket") when it comes to what is being offered at this point state of the game. I feel like now is a great time to not only get into the game early to learn the system, the world, classes, ruleset, and etc., but the differences here may grip you to the point that you'll find this game becoming one of your all time favorites.

What do I love about it most? The immersion, the character development and the fact that each character in my party are characters of my own design. I also find the combat gripping and the story though thus far isn't blowing my mind it is quite immersive and gripping! The game flows well and I'm super excited to see the entirety of this journey. It's an honor to watch this game grow at this state of its development and I am proud to support and play Solasta 2 as it grows!

Man, I'm too old for the use of words like "Peak" but from what these chillins (children) have taught me the words means, I must say that this game definitely fits the definition. It's so gosh darn good, man, if you haven't played it yet, you got to check it out eventually!

Ohhhh yeah, we're back, Baby! We're back!!! If you don't have the original I would go ahead and pick up the bundle while it's going for a great price. The bundle would allow you to not only support the devs, but also enjoy some of the modded content in StS 1. With that said, I don't have much time to write up reviews because it's time for me to dive back in!

Definitely a must-have for any city builder fans. I'm not into city-builders too much and I haven't put in an ample amount of time into AtS but we all know how good this game is and if you don't know, you need to find out!
