I am enjoying TL3. I am currently level 12 and am almost done with the first act. Here is what I can say so far.

I don't think it deserves the negativity it is receiving. It is a fun action rpg that has a fresh feel to its character design. Although the skill system is not deep like path of exile or grim dawn, it still has plenty of combinations and customization you can do. The game's artistic style and animations look great. The sound is good for the most part. Some skills are a little loud compared to the rest of the game which could use a tuning. I can see where part of it might get repetitive, but I am willing to take that for now in hopes they improve it later.

Improvement that would help:
1. It could use an improvement to loading. Since it was made for phones or tablets, they could have a desktop version that caches more areas. There is way too much loading. At the very least they could make your Fort area cached so there is minimal loading to go back and forth there.
2. Make it easy to party with other people. I looked at the party menu once. As soon as I realized no steam friends owned it, I have not looked back at it since.
3. Boss arenas could use some variance, they are repetitive.
4. The elite/champion/rare on kill music is the same for all of them. It makes me feel good to kill them, but it is a bit repetitive and it makes it sound like I am about to gain a legendary every time.

Update 1:
Now part way through act 2
- The environment has completely changed. Yes it has the same flow. New area with 2-3 dungeons and repeat. But what ARPG doesn't do this?

I'll update more as I progress further into the game.
