(mostly) FIXED Biggest issue has to be the gamemode specific challenges, since you cant pick a gamemode to grind to complete the challenges (mostly) FIXED

Biggest issue now is the lack of colour customization. You have basic colour options, and you can unlock more through purchases. There is no longer the ability to choose primary/secondary colours, and you cannot customize emblems further than five or so different colour presets for the emblem of your choosing.

Big team battle is also a buggy mess to queue into, with constant matchmaking issues. It can be helped slightly by setting your fireteam privacy to open.

There's also something causing occasional freeze crashes in any game mode you might choose, its only happened twice to me, but both times were in the last 10 hours, so it could be me changing something, or it could be a bug.

Finally there does feel like there's a lack of maps.

Now it may seem weird for me to recommend this game, but despite all these issues, the game taken as a whole is fantastic! The gameplay is varied and captivating, the few maps that do exist are all beautiful and play differently. The weapons sandbox could do with a little re-balancing as the Commando feels very superfluous, and the Skewerer is almost always a worse pick than the SPNKR (perhaps a nerf to the splash damage could fix that *hint hint*), but all the weapons play, sound, and feel great. Most even look nice (I really miss the magnum though)! And apart from the Commando most really do have a use that makes them effective and sets them apart. I cant remember ever before successfully winning a duel against a BR with just a plasma pistol!

The release of the campaign has been great, and the wide open world feels like a much more complete take on the scope of what Combat Evolved was originally supposed to be. My only complaints here, are the lack of ability to choose what individual level you want to play, and the lack of par time/score. The former is something 343 has said they're actively working on, and the latter is far from a gamebreaker for anyone but the speedrunning community.

Its always harder to write the stuff you like, than it is to write the stuff you don't, much like getting a piece of gravel in your new shoes. You wont go around thinking about how comfortable the rest of your foot, nor how comfortable the other foot is. The focus falls entirely on the wee stone. Halo Infinite has a couple of stones, but boy, if it was a shoe it'd be the one I'd wear everywhere. So if you want to play what is (honestly) by far the best interpretation of Halo since 343 took over Bungies mantle of responsibility, give Infinite a shot. 9/10

Cant even install the game properly, I get "Unable to execute the desired program. Please get another copy of the installer and try again."from the InstallAnywhere.exe that I get with Steam, tried downloading it from the ESO webpage. But you need an account with a license to download. So i tried making an account and linking my steam account. No luck. Anyway, experience 0/10

i mean its halo on pc, it cant be bad. tho the port itself has some issues, spontaneous framerate issues, cant connect to multiplayer lobbies if ping is too high (and it doesnt tell you that your ping is too high, i figured that out myself), and me personally wouldve probably preferred the old system of cosmetic unlocks from reach
