This game is yet another masterpiece from Square Enix, they’ve been absolutely nailing these remakes lately.

Now, you might be asking yourself whether you should buy it, given that massive backlog you’ve been ignoring. Maybe you’re thinking you’ll wait for a sale, or just replay the originals on an emulator instead.

Stop.. Right there..

There’s no excuse, buy this game now. Skip groceries this week if you have to. You only get one life (that you know of), and you owe it to yourself to have this experience.

Stop reading, hit that buy button, and go play, your welcome.

What happens when you take one of the best games ever made, mix it with SquareEnix's brilliant HD2D style, and add in a bunch of new content? You get a masterpiece, and that is exactly what Dragon Quest 3 HD2D Remake is.

If you have never played a Dragon Quest game before, this is the perfect place to start, as it provides an accessible entry point while still honoring the series’ legacy. The developers have successfully updated older systems to make the game more accessible to new players, while still keeping everything that long-time fans have come to expect intact.

This game is eminently re-playable and easily worth the price. Get it, sell a kidney if you have to, you won’t be disappointed!

A timeless classic faithfully remastered. Many people who never had a chance to play the original in 1981 can get mostly the same experience with this remake. The use of a controller or ability to play it on a Steam deck only adds to the value in this version.

Digital Eclipse has added old school settings which allow you to turn off any modern features they added to make the game more accessible, though none of these features felt like they detracted from the classic Wizardry experience. The job that they've done bringing this to modern systems is masterful and I really hope we get to see the other two parts of the original trilogy: Knight of Diamonds and Legacy of Llylgamyn.

I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of dungeon crawlers, dungeons & dragons, or video game RPG history.

Also, whoever owns the rights to the Eye of the Beholder trilogy, please contact Digital Eclipse!

Secret of mana is easily one of the best RPGs ever made, and I believe it was one of the first ever multiplayer rpgs as well. This remake is entirely faithful to the original game, and the modern 3D graphics do not detract from the original gameplay. The music remix is done well and can be turned off if you would like to hear the original sound track instead. The story is not terribly deep, this is not a book or a movie like some RPGs out there, you are expected to actually play this game, and that is really a great thing when the game is this good!

Game of the year for sure, and probably one of the best RPGs to date. If you love dragon quest, make sure to get this game. If you have never played dragon quest (What is wrong with you?), make sure to get this game!

Excellent quality game, very fun, great cartoony graphics.
Only thing really lacking is dharma shrine like in other DQs and multiplayer co-op, but I hear that DQ Heroes 2 will have those things!

Well worth the purchase imho.

One of the best games that I have played in a long time. I highly recommend this for everyone. It's a welcomed throw back to the days of Eye of the beholder, but with updated graphics, new puzzles and adventure, and some new innovations as well. Very fun game, the developers should be proud of such an achievement.
