In addition to what others have already said, SILENT HILL f is a treat for those who are familiar with Japanese oral history and myth. Lots of the symbolism draws from Japan's real-world legends and folktales, occasionally playing around with or subverting them. And all of this is neatly woven into a story that touches on conformity, gender, kinship, and much more. This game is begging to be picked apart and analyzed. I've played through it a few times at this point, yet I'm still making new connections and noticing small details.

I played this game's demo back on the 360 two dozen times over and have been hooked ever since it released. Few games manage to suck me in and make me feel like I'm on a real adventure quite like this one. It's not for everyone, but if it *is* for you, boy are you in for a good time. Give it a shot!
