Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, the sweet spot between intense melee combat and puzzles. Being rewarded for exploration would of been nice but due to the lengths they have gone through to create the atmosphere and wonderful detail a large open world is just not in the cards this round.

Very well done Ninja Theory.

If your going to give this failed mmo a try (there are still people playing) I would suggest bringing friends, or doing some research first and find a guild that is still active so you know where to head to find the people. I gave it a go and saw nobody for a good few hours of play, zero chat as well. So you gotta know where the people are first, then roll a character. It is a good game, its been polished since launch (bugs drove me out just weeks after launch) It is technically a failed mmo, but can be worth playing if you want something different.. and lots of fun can be had totally for free.

I have been playing LOTRO off and on since closed beta. With the Rohan expansion LOTRO will again have the most content of any mmorpg and has worn that crown crown before. immersion is through the roof and the attention to detail will floor any Tolkien fan. The devs have done an excellent job of bringing middle earth to life. There is a multitude of character advancment methods as well endless amounts of replayability with skirmishes, instant instances, and a massive world to explore with a crazy amount of detail and lore from Middle Earth.

LOTRO will satisfy the solo, and group players but may leave the raider's/power gamers wanting. The open world with few invisible walls and impassable terrain almost feels sandbox, but the game maintains the ease of play of a themepark. With little to no grind characters progress at an even pace via questing with a great spread of solo, small group, group, and raid content with all instances replayable with friends via the Reflecting Mirror system.

Closest you can get to realistic infantry combat in an action FPS. Anything more realistic is a simulator like Arma(II). Steep learning curve, very little run and gun.. cover is king.

Absolutely the best all around zombie action game to date. However it is an arcade game and players looking for a survival or slower paced "Romero" style game will be disappointed. Luckily with the Source Engine we get the best of both worlds. If you want instant action, fast paced gameplay, and solid mechanics L4D is for you, if you want Romero style zombie survival horror check out the mods Zombie Panic, or No More Room In Hell.

Highly underated game.. Tons of pvp action, up close and personal fights, no waiting, easy to play but hard to master. Endless amount of community created content, and the ease of srcds for dedi hosting.
