We don't know when or how, but sometime before managed democracy graced our world, a soldier found themselves buried under slabs of mud--kicked up from an artillery shell. Captain Murk emerged 268 years later, in the year 2184, with one mission: to hold the line!

Now, you might find yourself asking a few questions:
1.) How in Liberty's name did a few inches of mud preserve a man for over two hundred years?
2.) Was this guy... on the right side of history?
3.) What deodorant does he wear? He smells fabulous!

The answers are in Murk's brain somewhere, but you might have to pick through enough shrapnel to build a wall for dissidents to face. What matters is Murk fights against tyranny and will gladly lay down his life for any loyal Helldiver.
