Halo

The way I see it if you love 80s and 90s action movies, explosions, and fast paced pixel action this is all you really need. If you can find another game where you can play as Rambo, the Terminator, Ash Williams, Neo, and The McManus brothers I'd be impressed. I will say that the game is amazing but to fully enjoy it I think you need a controller. I played about 56 hours using the keyboard but when I switched to a controller it not only got more fluid but also felt a little more natural for this game. So far the devs have been very good and involve their player base in what they're doing. Based on that and what they have in the works the price tag is well justified despite being short right now(there is custom levels that add to it as well so there's still more to play).
Easily a 8.5-9/10 now and I see no reason for it to not be 10/10 by the time its done.

I'd recomend this game to near anyone. You can get away with playing mostly with weapons, to a point, or just watching your traps do near everything. My recomend comes with a few asterics though
1- Have a friend to play with. since this game added mulitplayer to the series the vast majority of the later maps are catered to two people with two disinct paths. You can still do them by yourselves but it becomes a little less casual when you do.
2- Replay value for me was low. I beat 60% of the levels by myself then went through with a friend the whole way that way. After beating we started on the higher difficulty you unlock but about a third through we stopped due to it not being overly fun anymore.

i'd recomend waiting till its onsale, its what I did and I got two copies for around 10 bucks or so. But if your really into trap placing, RPG element filled, gib fests its worth it.

Solid gameplay. Great class variety. Easily the best multiplayer out there. Even better because it's free.
