I love the slow pace of the game; perfect for playing with a glass of red wine when I get home from work. The developers definitely put time into crafting this game, based on all of the collectibles and "secret areas" they hid throughout The City. Story is albeit generic, however the game is definitely atmospheric (though loading screens between areas can be tedious.) I didn't play much of the first two Thief games growing up, and even though I played some of Thief Deadly Shadows, the 2014 Thief reboot definitely made me appreciate the first three games in the series, and also has me anxious for a release of a fifth Thief game.

Remove these micro-transactions out of a premium-priced video game.

It's not all bad. The gun play parts can be fun and the soundrack is awesome. Still lots of glaring issues aside from these exist. I'll overlook these though... part of me really wants to play Episode 2, I don't know why.

I'd probably enjoy this more if it had a FOV slider.
