Cang Jue is so fun. Turned my brain off, started stomping Reincarnation like it was Normal mode.

Four characters with unique plastyles, a high skill ceiling, very fun combat, definitely recommend for such a price tag.

This is as much about Mahjong as Balatro is about Poker. Definitely recommend though, even if some characters feel like they require more actual mahjong knowledge than others. I just wish there was a way to unlock characters that wasn't just tied to getting good, as quite a few characters are tied to beating the game on higher difficulties, but the characters available at lower difficulties are already very good.

Played through a bit of the first act (got totally wiped).

Very fun game, reminds me very much of Valkyria Chronicles more than it does X-COM. The gameplay loop is very fun, and I am waiting to discover more weapons and interactions,

The art style and the cutscenes are lovely, and the game comes built-in with the ability to retry fights once (or more if you enable story mode) which is always appreciated

Very fun rhythm game, even if the enemies are sometimes a bit confusing. The modding scene is still new, but the modding tools make creating your own levels very easy and some of the already created levels are very fun!

It might sound or look like a rage game, but it isn't. All the falls are your own fault, and you get better with each climb. Definitely recommend.

Fast paced action, just kill endless amounts of bugs. Extremely repetitive and grindy, but the good kind. ROCK AND STONE

"Short" (probably not more than one or two hundred hours to fully complete it) and sweet roguelite. I could see it getting boring playing it for another 50 or so hours due to the lack of map diversity and enemy diversity, but there are quite a few builds, difficulty options, weapon options and bots to balance it out.

I love the comic book cutscenes and the look of the game.
