Played for an hour, acquired a badass Android daughter who hacks stuff. Fawken sick. In all seriousness this game feels like a more interactable Bioshock, in a way that the Big daddies and littles Synergized. I'm insanely impressed with this game. I didnt think i was gonna like it, but i got it for free with my new PC and this game is intense off the rip. Its also got that souls kinda combat difficulty feeling, but once you learn the mechanics the game hits that satisfaction. The hacking feels like those perfect parrys in Sekiro. insanely gratifying Good job Capcom i didnt think you guys could make a game like this that didnt say resident evil!

Honestly i was super shocked that i ended up liking this as much as i did. I'm a city man from upstate NY, the closest kinda hunting, or wooded kinda areas are like two hrs away. So for me i guess this is different and i enjoyed the slow pace of the wilderness and the different landscapes. The game also scratches my fascination for RNG, as theres rare animal types you can hunt for. Overall this is a nice chill relaxing game.

I just want to start out by saying that i dont typically like 3rd-person shooters, as there isn't much Immersion for me, BUT this game scratches that itch of just running, gunnin, and looting to create your perfect build. Now i havent bat an eye at this game, at all, i havent played a tom clancy game in....probably 20 yrs, PS2 days when they were first person! lost interest, but with this title it brought me into loving it. It combines everything i personally like in games, minus the 3rd person.

Let's talk about the meatier part of the game. yeah its a looter shooter, means you have to play missions, and replay some missions on harder difficulties to make your build as great as possible. Now for a player like me, i get bored when levels are repeated(and uses the SAME ENEMIES), but this game has Multiple factions that change how each mission play, and theres a few variety of missions it gives you on the same mission. If your somebody who loves games with lots of loot and configurations to go for this is for you. And right now is a great time to get into the game if your new or returning, there extending the games life! The main story campaign is about 40 hrs long, but DONT WORRY! THE END GAME CONTENT IS INSANELY LONG, AND THERES DIFFICULTY SETTINGS FOR THE WORLD. Not to mention the amount of content there adding this year! But yes once you hit level 40 the game opens up into the 2nd part and thats where the fun really begins

Now lets get into the weapons and armor. Well im about 60 hrs in, and have gotten alot of weapons...ALOT. This game was shocking with the amount of weapons it has, and im still finding new guns i havent seen yet. I also havent explored the 2 DLC's the game gives which im sure has more in it havent seen. The armor. Your best bet is to choose a playstyle, and then search up the armor that suits you, and dont worry just like guns theres an extensive page for armor as well so you can eb as tanky as your heart desires.

The world and setting. Your in NYC, theres a outbreak that happened that gives people the flu, and alot of people die. Essentially crashing how everyday life works. People go crazy, riot, start stealing and scavenging for supplies. Now the game dropped in 2023, before looking into if it actually correlated to COVID, it reallllly felt like it was based off it in some aspects. With the world crashing from disease, and famine, you also have civilians who have gone rogue and created Factions, Warlords construction madness through the bouroughs. Each faction is very unique and has dynamic effects throughout the game. As you play you will notice the factions will actually fight each other, intercept each other, all whilst still fighting YOU. Theres insane patrols walking the streets, Blown out fallen buildings used as base and control points, public executions, all happen in real time. Its up to you to stop each factions control in each area. Literally everyday you log-on, and through your session, the map is changing and the factions are stealing areas. Do what you can to stop it.

Overall this game took me by surprise and i rate it 9/10 would be 10/10 if there was first person. Im excited to be a new player in the division 2, and i cant wait to see what they do through the year. i highly recommend this game for full price and of course on sale. The games graphics have also apparently been reworked, and i have to say its beautiful looking. I run everything on high, and pull 150-180 fps, and 200 fps indoors. Phenemonal game.

(Before reading the review keep in mind theres only TWO PEOPLE MAKING THIS GAME AT THE MOMENT AND THIS REVIEW IS ALL WHAT I GATHERED IN JUST 4-5 HRS PLAY TIME) The graphics are 100% gonna offset alot of people. BUT hear me out. you can tweak just about every setting in this game to how you want it. Its a complete sandbox experience, thats still definitely in early development but its moving along nicely if you check there page. Theres also a massive update coming soon! with Multiplayer Co-op planned. But heres what i gathered so far

The maps about 2 miles long, maybe a little more and yes there are some decent sized places to loot, but alot of it does feel like your just running by trees, and then one random little building. Keep in mind new areas and POIS are coming to the game! but for now this feels like your just kinda running around in desolate areas with some things tucked here and there, but there ARE EXPLORATION INTERESTS WITHIN THE MAP. because stuff is so far apart be sure to wander everywhere.

Combat and equipment. The Melee combat actually feels fine, would be nice to see some other kinda animations for swinging the weapons, but for now its good and some bigger weapons actually seem to stagger the zombies. As for gear, there is a HUGE amount of gear and weapons, attachments, melee weapons. i was kinda shocked, so if your somebody who loves to loot and have alot of gear, this game is full of it, i hope they add more! Now lets talk about the guns. Main issue i had was the ADS (Aim Down Sight) only some weapons with scopes can ADS to my knowlegde, now i havent dove much into it yet, but i did use the debug menu just to see what the game actually had before i did a real playthrough, and even some weapons with sights, scopes dont seem to ADS? i did check the keybinds and made sure i was pressing the right ones aswell, and it seems maybe some weapons all dont ADS, would love to see that be fixed and allow ads with all sights, scopes, and even the iron sights, because you do a weird 3rd person shoulder ADS, and your accurate as long as you shoot where there name pops up. Other then that the combat feels pretty good just needs some touching up!

The World and the dangers. This game like alot of zombie games offers you a good mix of different enemies between real factions of armed scavengers, military operatives, Black ops soldiers, randoms bandits, and there honestly kinda challenging. i havent encountered any soldiers, or operatives yet, only bandits and raiders, and there pretty tough depending on your gameplay settings! As for zombies it looks like we have some sprinters, some toxic zombies, radiation infested. You can also tell the zombie type by the color of there eyes. Theres also boss zombies in the bigger areas of the game, i dont know howm many there are, but i may have ran into one by a mall (:

The base building and personal survival. So no, your not just running around this world shooting and looting, unless you want to of course, but there is some base building. I havent personally messed with it, as im not really good at it, and im not usually the base builder (i play these games usually with my cousin and he's the builder lol) but it was simple enough just like the games inventory system. its pretty straight forward and not overwhelming, would be nice to see some expansion on stuff you can build, maybe add new materials to the game in the future.

Seems this game is going in the right direction, as long as the updates dont stop it will be good. The game will be even better once co-op comes and you can play with friends. i'd recommend this game at full price and sale price. good game!

insanely fun game....BUT having issues playing with friends. me and my cousin literally got into a world, played it for days.....and then all the sudden i couldnt connect or get into the lobby...infinite loading....then, we restart, use the console commands to get us back to where we were, it worked for a bit...and then STOPPED went right back to doing the same infinite loading....not sure if its just our save, my pc, his pc, or the game, but it made it unenjoyable not being able to play with people as halfway through the game it can be tedious solo, idk really really fun game but theres connectivity issues somewhere, hopefully in the future maybe it gets fixed, but other then that i gotta stop playing the game, and i was so Hyped to try out the halloween update...

Games Definitely got the Souls difficulty to it, some regular enemies and some elite enemies give ya the work, and the bosses are a good challenge, my only gripe was the the environment and setting didnt feel to immersive, or didnt differ to much i dont know didnt like some of the areas felt to re-used in terms of level design, but theres a huge challenge here if you are needing another soulslike 9/10

also ran pretty smooth on my 3070, 16 gigs of ram, and ryzen 7 5800x averaged easy 100+ fps in some areas never really dipped below 100 on high/maxed

Usually they say when you play masterpieces you wont ever get that same "first time" feeling...but i dont know Elden Ring still has that magic to it where everytime you log on, im sure theres gonna be new things you find. im almost 350 hrs in, and go different routes all the time, and find new stuff alot. games fun to re-run with different builds, and the modding capabilities like the Convergence Mod, and the Co-op mods both on Nexus makes the game alot more in depth and lengthens the game a bit. I'd say Elden Ring is the perfect game for 60$ within its Genre, along with the DLC it formulates to being the Ultimate Open world Dark Fantasy RPG, it'll be awhile before something comes to close to ER, 100% worth the price in my opinion

i dont ever do NG Playthroughs for games but this one deserves it. havent quite played a game like GoT yet, the combat flowed together so well, the graphics make u forget ur looking at a screen, and the story has so many twists and turns with replayability. i also dont do reviews for games either but i dont think a games ever caught my attention like this one has

i really hope Ghost of Yotei is just as good if not better. Ghost Of Tsushima was worth every penny i'll miss how Immersed i felt the first playthrough.

The only reason this game has gotten is great reviews is due to the zombies and the custom zombies ability, I paid the full 60 dollars because i never experienced Black ops 3 when it came out, due to me switching to PC after BO2 ended, and i'm upset that i slept on and missed this game in its prime. Games only worth it if your a die hard Zombies fan.
