An awesome aesthetic, really well done building system that yes, takes a while to do but sure is fun building lego castles. Really fulfills the last stand sort of feel.

Played in beta, on and off for a few years. Can be fun to build and battle your own creations however after they merged with steam accounts and wiped my progress, I've found their support are of no use and restarting from zero is MUCH more of a grind than it used to be. Very much a game if you're fine being a cash whale, but the sadly terrible pacing of playing to progress is much, much worse now. Shame really, it had potential.

Don't recommend at all at this point.

The gameplay for a solo player or small group revolves around grinding hard for days to get to a point where you can grind more efficiently. Followed swiftly by veteran players destroying all you have made, taking every resource in your inventory for themselves and leading to another endless grind for resources to attempt to build defences which they already have the tools to overcome.

Player base in OCE is silent with clans like IronForge hunting new players on every medium map, usually griefing by blocking access to traders.

Fantastic alpha with a LOT of promise. Deadside offers a lot of what made DayZ Epoch great. The world is filled with AI bandits and player bandits for that matter..

The combat feels tight, the guns feeling very responsive and finding better gear makes a HUGE difference in your combat effectiveness. That said, a bullet's a bullet, a man with a farmers rifle can still ruin your day with a well placed shot, so learning how each weapons sights work, along with being smart in how you approach situations makes a huge difference in your odds of survival.

Competitive platforming at it's worst, in a good way... UCH uses some very tight character controls, with a good mix of momentum and responsiveness. Playing with friends locally or internationally, this game is chaos. Lag is not an issue anywhere as players transfer the map layout after placing new obstacles for the round, then play on their own machine, only streaming other players positions. Allowing people from all over the globe to play in the same lobby.

Players can drop a myriad of traps and obstacles, ranging from a wooden plank, to flaming tennis ball launchers that can be caught by the wind spun around a black hole and flung again from a cannon at Mach 10 speeds.

Great game overall, constant updates from the devs and an active community

An awesomely messy first person horde game. It hits all the right notes when smashing your way through hordes of rats (and now chaos and beastmen). Great coop gameplay and even greater in a premade team with friends.

Much more than a hack and slash, the melee mechanics allow for plenty of skill with each weapon type, timing blocks, pushes, dodges and timing attack combos to hit the right swing in the right spot. The higher the difficulty level the more exciting the game appears to be, with each blow taken potentially ending your run. Teamwork and cooperation make for an amazing experience

A PVE shoot 'em up which is constantly adding new content, ranging from cramped ship killing floors to open planes with free roam elements.

For a new player, lots of stuff to explore. For the veteran player, lots of new content being brought in.

A great rogue-lite with a good sense of humour and some nice mechanics. Could potentially have a bit more depth in ship variation at different depths, but still worth a look into.

Great game to play with friends if you have no intention of being tactical or having consistent games. Whoever can find a scope wins on Miramar, and whoever gets the zone on Erengal. The new updates have simply made the game more pixelated, but Great! it runs faster, but can't see ♥♥♥♥ at range. Not to mention if you're actually having a good game and it goes for longer than 15 mins the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing crashes.

Awesome singleplayer game so far. Survival mode is a lot of fun, a cool RTS with a defensive twist.
