after supporting this title with many purchases for friends and all lame DLC they put out to help "create the next game" I am convinced that the only positive takeaway for buying this is that now I dont have to learn what its like to invest in some crappy sh|tc0in the hard way and end up losing my house instead of just 40 more dollars

this was like it was never tested by anyone who plays the game.

game companies should be run and staffed by real avid gamers, people who love what they are making and not just what they are doing for a paycheck

7000 hours in pd2 (thats just my online play time), up until the day they added epic service and made all lobbies trash or never showing up in crimenet

UPDATE TO REVIEW:

I have since learned that they are no longer removing bad reviews from refunders, so now i guess its only immediately after launch week? What a coincidence that they were removing them during launch, but now the policy is different.

btw the game still sucks

February 2024 UPDATE:

I heard the game was under 250 players online this week

Lol yea thanks dude and you're welcome, for some funny reason I actually decided to try out that little dingy they put on play store called the Crime War, I sh!t you not, this game has the UI design and menu extremely similar to it, which just gives you the vibe that this was a suspected "crime war PC port" lol... But the problem here is, I didn't have to pay 40€ for it, I downloaded it and tried it on my phone and it worked fine, was able to do couple of jewelry stores in less than a few minutes. Even a frogging mobile game beats this..?!

It just feels like at this current stage, PD3 is what pdth was reworked into and packaged in the disgusting most live service horsesh!t, I tried the beta during their so called server stress testing prior to launch and immediately realised what I got myself into so I bailed out quick. Sorry for your money and thanks for the review dude.

Bro, I commend your playtime in payday 2 so that means you have good sense of what makes payday a fun game. At the current state of it which it could be best described as an untested beta, sadly when they chose to put it as a "live gaming as a service", they picked the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ COD route which contradicts what they claimed to be staying true to the roots of payday, or payday: the heist.

Not only it appears to be a bad investment for us as players, but it also appears to be an ingenious way for the dev to render many players unable to request for refund, if they are willing to put up with the ridiculous matchmaking model, all thx to s live gaming as s service that renders the game not even playable at launch.

A typical mobile game strategy humiliatingly used here on a good franchise.
