Waste of time

Very good voice acting and visuals.

A few non vital bugs here and there, but the developers are fixing them essentially on a daily basis.

Becoming a literal genius simulator

Every update promises a better game with more content and player satisfaction, but the only guarantee with every update is more bugs and worse reviews.

Great game on your first few walkthroughs, but gets stale afterwards.

Loved my time with friends, but it really wasn't the best game to play.

I didn't know how fun downloading anime backgrounds for 10 hours would be, prior to my purchase.

10/10 hours well spent.

*Plays multiple times to find little secrets

Lucid 9 is an interesting visual novel that utilizes its art style and an entertaining story to draw you into the game. The game somehow manages to stay free for download, despite the high standards that Fallen Snow Studios has placed on themselves. Little fun easter eggs that become apparent after the finish of the story inspires an entire forum thread filled with a small community's efforts to theorize on the sequel of the novel.

Although the promised voice acting of the novel is not currently completed, the small set of music for each scene allows readers to quickly understand the mood that the creators wanted to instill within their audience. Although its been a while since any updates have occurred, I will definitely be back for a lot more playthroughs once the voice acting is finished.

That being said, the story is pretty long and may be tedious to read through in just one sitting. However, if you love these types of school and slightly fantasy stories, you will definitely find entertainment in the story.

With low graphic requirements, no need for an internet connection, and a low low price of just $0.00, what is stopping you?
