I think this game is mid.
Genuinely one run was enough for me, I will not be replaying this game .

Conceptually I think this game had a nice idea however the actual gameplay gets repetitive quickly. It starts feeling like a chore to keep clicking away. Autoplay and being able to skip fighting sections that you've already previously cleared, would've been a great addition in my opinion although I get why the latter isn't a thing. However I almost fell asleep while fighting because it was so boring doing the same thing again and again.

Some minigames are also just not up my alley.

I was also surprised to find out about the love interests' ages... Although I guess it would fit the time the game is set in. The romance is optional anyways so that's that.

Also there were a few times the translated English text wasn't adjusted to the actual text box.

The game is so good I didn't even notice how I've spent 5 hours in one go. If you liked Chinese Parents you may like this game too

the game would really be a masterpiece if not for the bad translation
