Real talk though, the game isn't particularly revolutionary but it's still pretty well-made. Could do with a few things. More creative consumables instead of just "X% increase to X stat for X time". A hand crafted world with thoughtfully placed items and gear. A less western leveling system. A defining mechanic aside from Gun. Like really, DaS had poise, BB had rally, Sekiro is Sekiro. Remnant has a gun. And weapon mods I guess which are cool, but they're not a particularly novel concept and don't really effect the core gameplay at a fundamental level. But hey, guns are fun. The game is still good, very well made, just a bit bland. Definitely not a masterpiece, and definitely didn't have as much mechanical expertise and finesse put into it as there would be if it were made by FromSoft. But for what it is it's quite entertaining and far from bad.
