Full disclosure: I am the developer's girlfriend. It would be pretty impossible for me to write an unbiased review, so here is a biased one instead. (I did pay for the game myself, and he has no idea what's gonna be in my review.)

I first heard about Way of Rhea directly from the developer at a local game dev event. Even though I was not a big puzzle game person at the time, I took it upon myself to play the demo in full, because I was ridiculously attracted to the aforementioned developer. Now, I'll never know for sure whether the game had anything to do with it for not, but ever since then, I've become more and more attracted to the developer with each passing day.

I was one of the beta testers, so I have played the full game. I think my playtime came out to around 8-9 hours. It took me about a week to actually finish though, as the later puzzles get so complicated that I found myself having to put the game down to give myself extra time to think. There were a handful of puzzles where I asked him if he was certain *this* puzzle could be completed without doing some sort of crazy timing maneuver. (The answer to that is always yes.) They're incredibly well designed, the pacing is just right, and they all fit together nicely. It was made in a super solid custom engine, so the only way you'll run into any bugs is if you try really, really hard. Also, the characters are cute and the soundtracks slaps.

Highly recommended for any indie game enjoyer, whether puzzles are usually your thing or not!

Early Access Review
I have 300+ hours combined between CSD 1/2/3...and I refunded this game after 10 minutes. The gameplay is simply not fun. I knew this game was going to be "different" from its predecessors, but it's missing the element that actually made it fun (which, to me, was the rapid whole keyboard usage). It felt like CSD for babies. I really hope they figure out a way to salvage it.
