For over 10 years, this game has been apart of my life. I loved it for what it was, but I never expected to witness it become something even greater.

For years, I loved it for what it was. Its charm, its uniqueness, and the fact that there has never been anything else quite like it. It carved out a space no other game has even attempted to fill, and somehow executed it flawlessly. There simply isn’t another matchmaking game like this, and the way it executes its concept feels almost unreal in how perfectly it works. But like any long time fan, I always imagined what it could become with modern polish, updated features, and expanded content. I talked about it constantly. I hoped for it. I wished for it. I just never truly believed it would happen......And then it did!

The timing feels strangely perfect. I started playing this as a kid, long before I understood what it meant to truly find “your person.” It followed me throughout middle school, through high school, through adulthood and finding myself, through so many seasons of change and growth. It was a quiet constant in the background of my life, something familiar I could always return to.

Now, as someone who has found my soulmate, the game re-emerges in a version that feels more whole, more polished, more realized. It feels like both of us — the game and I — grew up together.

This remake feels like a love letter to the players who stayed. It doesn’t feel rushed. It doesn’t feel like a lazy cash-grab. It feels intentional. Refined. Cared for. The updated graphics breathe new life into familiar spaces. The new features feel thoughtful rather than tacked on. The improvements don’t erase what made the original special, they elevate it. That balance is incredibly hard to achieve, and the team absolutely nailed it!

What makes this even more meaningful is knowing that not every game gets to evolve like this. It takes longevity, a dedicated community, and a team willing to reinvest in their own creation. The fact that this one grew its audience, maintained its relevance, and inspired enough loyalty to warrant this level of redevelopment makes it feel like a collective achievement and a shared milestone for all of us.

It’s surreal to see something I’ve loved quietly for so long finally shine in a new way. This isn’t just a visual upgrade, it’s a validation of the game’s potential and of the players who believed in it. I’m genuinely grateful to the team for not just revisiting this game, but for elevating it beyond what I thought was possible.

The Makeover squeezes out even more potential from the first game, so far there are mildly tweaked elements but there's also novel additions that make it feel fresh, and I can't wait to explore every nook and cranny of it!!

An amazing game, the new visuals really are beautiful. I really love the new minigames and including nonbinary characters are a very welcome addition as well.
