Small.
Overpriced microtransactions.
Feels like mobile.
"Loading" all the time.
Bad skills design.
"MMo" only with option to trade with people, without actually playing with them.

PREDATORY MONETIZATION
You have to pay more for microtransactions than you actually need. So for item priced at 100, you have to purchase 150.

Okay, I should edit it a bit.
- Pushed from beta to release, too early
- No quality of life, no inventory sorting
- Idea about making everything from everything, so crafting any items is painful
- Looks like beta but with extended crafting system, in 3 hours I did not found anything new
- Quite high reqs to run it, but runs good on good PC
- No enemies in caves, literally nothing there
- No point of playing, no target, no idea what to do, just craft, explore, no point. People says there are 5 bosses to defeat. And? It's just few hours to do it.
- Useless map, no pins, no option to place markers on it
- Tons of mostly visual items, blocks and looks like fighting and exploring is just addition to the sandbox mode
- Building system is kinda good, but not everyone want to spend 1000 hours to get 1000000 recources to build just a small hut
- "Shady" kind of development in one place, as Tooley is quite transparent in terms of devlogs and updates + very good contact on Discord. Problem is around supporting of this game. It was said from the start: you will NOT get the key to the game through supporting. Fine. But some people on Discord stated they actually GET THE KEY for long supporting. Some people did not, even they supported more than game is worth on purchase. Sad.

So far not worth it. Maybe after fixes, but it's not early access. Sorry Tooley, I thought you will make release, not just pushed beta and what is worse - to full release. It should be Early Access until enough quality will be added. So it's not EA and it feels like beta pushed to the release without adding much to it.

Edit.
Tooley said he was not able to send keys to long time supporters. Some people said on Discord they actually got one. Tooley's statement is not true. Steam allows keys to full release for people that are part of crowdfunding campaign. Valve says such campaigns should be time-limited but also Valve says it's NOT mandatory point. Valve celarly says - you can ask for keys for people that are highly dedicated and donated tons of money for your game on crowdfunding. IT IS POSSIBLE. Thare are games that launched with 80% of the playerbase with keys, not purchases. With 10k+ players online. Somehow some games got 20k keys from Valve and launched after Patreon. People that supported got the keys. It is possible. Tooley decided to milk his fans and that's just sad.

1. Dismantle 2.0 with the same assets, so literally overpriced asset flip.
2. Camera movement is horrible. Try to fight 5 enemies at one with camera rotating, if you disable option to rotate it you will have a huge mountain that covers whole screen. Gratz!
3. Fighting system is realy bad poor, just copied from Dismantle, same buggy and annoying mess.
4. Feels like mobile game with removed micropayments.
5. I wonder who the f... thought delays, animations popups and slow UI is a cool thing? No, it's not.
6. Music, literally 26€ for one audio track for the whole game.

If author is adding feedback stuff to the game just before release and there are like 20 patches in last 3 days it means it's worth it. 20+ hours and I'm still not done here, cool story, works perfect, dubbing, awesome feeling. What can I say more? Get it.

Be aware. This is probably the worst game you will see in 2026. When you start the game, you will get a tutorial in a crater. The game does not remember the settings - so you will have to set everything again every time. It acts and behaves in an incredibly clunky way. You have to repair the rover and drive it to the base, but you have to guess which route because the game won't tell you. If you go where the authors didn't want you to, you will hit invisible walls with the rover and have to... start the whole game over again. Because pressing the rover's respawn button will send it flying into space. Apart from the fact that every obstacle throws him into space. Horizon Journey is the buggedest game I've played in years - I don't have a full inventory, but the game says I have a full one. The interface is terrible, and dropping an item to accommodate another item causes the previous one to fly into space. Lighting is ugly - it is either too bright or too dark, because flashlight turns everything white. It was hard for me to even get through the beginning of the game for almost an hour because my rover was either falling under the textures or flying into the sky. There is absolutely no point in even trying. Lack of any quality of life - stacking of items, sorting, easy transfer between crates, the stack of items is sometimes... 3... pieces, which means that after a few steps your character or even your rover is already full. The day and night cycle lasts about 2 minutes, and you also need to eat and drink every 2 minutes. The interface is clunky, sometimes taking two seconds to activate or respond. A real nightmare.

Very not. Bunch of assets put together without any sense, any balance, any fun, any kind of building your own character. Designed only to play in full party, even with that RNG cause game to be or epic win or epic fail. Highly not recommended.
