over the last 13 years of my life i've played upwards of 1000 videogames, and out of all of them, this is inarguably down the bottom 5 of that list.

never in my life have i witnessed such bizarre inconsistency with the way the gameplay difficulty fluctuates, neither have i seen such neglect to game mechanics that would prove useful in otherwise difficult scenarios.

the way Mob Games has been treating the "Franchise" as a whole (if you could even call it that), is about as bad as sending kids to boarding schools in the 80s.

there was clearly alot of room for error.
that room was filled and released in the final product.

swordsman with white hair searches for answers and kills a bunch of non-humans on the way to his redemption for past wrongdoings.

i cannot begin to describe how sad this game made me, had to throw half a decade of patience in the bin over this.

there is no game that has stayed the same price through as many content updates as this game has.

the modding scene is beautiful.
the gameplay loop has been developed to a science.

get the game or argue with a wall.

DEFCON was great for its time, but this game is absolutely shocking for how good it is at its low price.
