Super hra, se skvělým potenciálem.

Má momentálně chyby, jako největší z nich vidím akorát to, že hra momentálně vcelku často padá (aspoň teda mě), věřím ale, že vývojáři momentální neduhy rychle fixnou...

Jinak je to velice zábavné a je to výzva, která se dá při troše přemýšlení a snažení zvládnout. Není to naštěstí žádná bezduchá rubačka a za to z mě určitě palec nahoru.

Ještě snad poznámka, že moc nechápu, proč si lidé stěžují, že nemůžou přijít na mechaniky hry, podle mě tam nic složitého nebo nepochopitelného není a naopak je zábavné na všechno přicházet...

This is the best Resident Evil game ever. Much better than RE9. I love this game.

The opening location and the sections where you play as Grace are absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is strong, the pacing works, and it really pulls you in.

Unfortunately, the parts with Leon don’t feel nearly as engaging. They lack tension and simply aren’t as fun to play.

The Raccoon city locations themselves, while clearly intended as a nostalgic nod to previous entries, feel underwhelming overall. It’s nice to see those connections, but they don’t leave a strong impression.

Visually, the game is stunning. The graphics are beautiful, and the voice acting is excellent — especially Grace’s voice actress, who delivers a standout performance.

This is, of course, just my personal opinion, but I still think RE4 and RE7 are stronger games overall. I enjoyed my time with this one, but it’s probably not something I’ll revisit in the future.

Skvělá hra,

atmosféra, nasvícení, kamera, zvuky, příběh... Všechno krásně a kvalitně zpracované.

Mám jen dvě výtky:
1. grafika postav by mohla být hezčí.
2. Tuhle vnímám jako větší problém a to, že se můžete jednoduše dostat do situace, kdy nebudete mít žádné náboje do zbraně a budete muset bojovat s bossem, nezbyde vám nic jiného, než si nahrát save klidně i hodinu zpátky a některá monstra prostě oběhnout a náboje si šetřit... I přes to ale hru určitě můžu jedině doporučit.

I haven’t finished the game yet, so it’s possible that my opinion might change once I reach the end. However, even now I can say that this doesn’t feel like Silent Hill.

The setting itself isn’t the issue; the problems lie elsewhere. The graphics feel outdated, and the gameplay mechanics also come across as old-fashioned. On top of that, the game is very linear – essentially a corridor experience with no opportunities for detours or deeper exploration of the environment. The atmosphere leans more towards something almost childlike, whereas the original Silent Hill series was always more mature and unsettling.

Comparison with Silent Hill 2 Remake is inevitable. That remake feels like a masterpiece – crafted with respect for the original game and the series as a whole. With this title, however, I get the sense that it strays too far from that philosophy and fails to capture the same spirit.

That being said, this doesn’t make it a bad game. On the contrary, as a standalone title it works well. It just doesn’t tie strongly to the legacy of Silent Hill and instead feels more like a completely different project with the famous name simply attached to it.

I can definitely recommend the game. I don’t often do this, but I’ll write down the pros and cons here. It’s purely my personal opinion, but I’m someone who really likes horror games.

Pros:

- The game is neither too easy nor too hard. The difficulty is perfectly balanced. It doesn’t give you anything for free, but at the same time it’s not frustrating...

- The game has an intriguing and engaging story

- Excellent music and sound design

- Beautiful graphics

- I like that you need to think about how to equip yourself and so on...

Cons:

- I can’t help but feel a certain repetitiveness

- For my taste, it’s unnecessarily too action-oriented (even though I know it’s supposed to be more action-focused)

- I’m missing (and here I’m comparing it specifically with the Silent Hill 2 remake) a stronger emotional impact

- In the end, the game is pleasantly unsettling, but for me personally not horror enough

Za mě, až na pár nedostaků skvělá hra! Kdo má rád Elder scrolls a Gothic, případně mix mezi těmito dvěma hrama, tohle si hodně užije. Vřele Doporučuju! :)
