No unique buildings or creating a unique city layout. NO ENGINEERS???? Placing hexagon tiles is incredibly boring. No heat zones. I didnt even have to think about heat tbh. Barely watched resource management because there wasnt really incentive to do so. The frostbreaking is really just an annoying mechanic that doesnt actually add anything, its just an extra step for no reason. I am such a huge fan of the first frostpunk game and it sucks to see the sequel nosedive and remove all the good parts of the gameplay for a mediocre gameplay loop. This really doesnt feel like a Frostpunk game, it just has the aesthetic. I refunded and can only hope that if theres a frostpunk 3, they return the mechanics that made Frostpunk such a gem. If anyone ends up making a spiritual successor to Frostpunk 1 you can find me playing that instead of this.

Best Final Fantasy game. I will die on this hill.
