Firing the Magnum is like dropping a tactical nuke every time you pull the trigger.

Very stylish and fun. But, be warned, this game has MAJOR performance problems currently.

A great blend of war-game and 4X. Think Civilisation and Hearts of Iron III/IV. Lots of detailed civilisation building mechanics. UI takes some getting used to but, in general, the game isn't too hard to grasp. Nice manual. Exceptional planet generation mechanic.

The best war-game series (equalled only by Graviteam Tactics) has finally made it's way to Steam. The devs appear to have finally seen sense.

Incredible game, terrible performance.

Given the mixed reception this game had on console, I went in expecting to be less than impressed. Turns out it's pretty damn good. Relaxed pace, great looking, with an interesting world and lore.

Few things are quite as satisfying as putting down the perfect rope to scale a massive cliff overlooking vast stretches of bleak, windswept terrain.

A wonderful (if janky) casual battle simulator with surprising unit variety (shout-out to the US airborne infantry and the French Maginot line sections) and map variety/design. Performance isn't the best and the fairly extensive campaign seems to have some issues currently. Game looks great and the direct control of units adds an interesting dimension to the combat. Sound design is a little weak unfortunately. Well priced. Interested to see if future content is planned.

2.0 (with Utopia and Apocalypse) has taken Stellaris from being an average game to a good one. I have no doubts that future updates will make it great. 2.0 came with a complete rework of a number of major mechanics all which make the game less unpredictable and more satisfying.
