Sorry for shouting but the DLC adds to the experience and I don't want anyone to overpay by being forced to buy separately as I did.

A[n eventually] polished and full-of-soul game was released by a Marvel x 2K collaboration in the year 2023?? I cannot believe it and was absolutely blindsided by this game. Initially I was skeptical because the cast was a bit odd and the story was not entirely traditional superhero fare, but those ended up being some of the games greatest strengths. Whilst the XCom deck-builder gameplay was fantastic, the real highlight was the extraordinary depth to the character building and cast interactions. This game is not "blue good, red bad"; character interactions must be considered carefully to gain friendship, leading to combat bonuses and rewards.

The game is like the Bioware-y, Mass Effect games of yore, where you get out what you put in. You can blast through enjoying the great combat or you can explore the vast ecosystem of game mechanics and definitely not get a little emotional before the final mission.

Big recommend for Marvel fans, soft recommend for my boomer deck-builder gamer brethren.
