I got this through Humble Bundle.

The game's conceit is straightforward and very easy to understand for anyone that's ever played an MMORPG: what would happen if all the players disappeared, and it was up to a lowly NPC to self-actualize and save the day?

This particular NPC is a fisherman, so be prepared to spend most of your time traveling to fishing spots, fishing, and returning to quest givers. There is also a heavy fetch quest element, which should also be familiar with MMO players in low-level areas, but so far that hasn't been too much of a drag.

There are a few things I'd change (a music slider in the sound settings is the top of the list, perhaps a difficulty setting to make the battles require a little less precision) but in general, if you have seen the trailers then you probably know enough to know whether you will enjoy this game.

By the way: this game plays well on a Mac via CrossOver, so don't let the Windows-only release keep you from buying it.
