A wonderful game that allows you to be the pirate you have always wanted to be. But be aware that there are other pirates sailing around themselves, who might be more bloodthirsty than you.

There are 2 ways to play this game, alone or with friends. Each way has its merits and its dangers.

When you play solo, the PVE becomes a bit easier. This is because the game scales difficulty. But you'll need to keep an eye on the horizon at all times, since you will be a target for other pirates at times. This is not always, but will happen regularly. Climb the skill curve by learning from each encounter and after a while you'll be able to escape or defeat any other pirate you meet.

When you play with friends, you are bound to have heaps of fun. Wether you are just messing around or focused on target, good communication will be important. And if you feel like the 4 people on your ship are not enough friends, go out and make an alliance with another ship to add more friends to your journeys.

A wonderfull game that includes all of the following:
talking like pirates
digging up treasure
Drinking grog
Battling other pirates (even if you didn't intend to when you booted the game)
and tons and tons of fun
(and much more)

I have currently played over 400 hours and I aim to tripple this amount to the least.

I love the idea of this game, but after a few hours of playing I do get teh feeling I've seen it all.

I hope the modding community or the creators can succesfully add more content to the game, to really inspire players to continue playing after the settlement reaches a few years.

I'd also love separating the production limits on the different foods. As my Wheat is used up to brew ale, its supply gets depleted and the room that creates in the total limit gets filled up by other foods.
