game has kernel level 'anti-cheat' and there's already aimbot cheats on day one... in every third match.
half of weapons available are made of wet tp while the other half shoot nukes... same goes for hero roster...
runs like absolute dookie too on 3080 12gb vram... it cant hold stable 60fps at 3440x1440 with LOWEST SETTINGS (and looks worse than games from 10 years ago).

ps. i appreciate trying something new but you botched it - not unrecoverable tho - by accepting mainstream media promo (geoff) - gamers hate that. learn from this and next time when u try something new i beg you dear devs - use early access or closed betas with nda even - but DO GET feedback from gamers. there's a good idea there but the exectuion is wack.
if this survives to like episode 2-3 ima give it another go but at current state - this ain't it chief.

menu is an abomination against all that is holy and good.
otherwise this game is super fun. have not been this sucked in by an open world game in about 8+ years.
ps. after edit - HOW IS THIS so good and not predatory in monetisation? O.O like for real... there's a lot of things off about the game but they all fall under the big yuge pile of 'IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN I AM GETTING LOST IN A CHINESEE FAIRYTALE OMG THIS IS SO COOL OH WAIT WHATS THAT OVER THERE!?'
last time i had that feel was in ac:origins (and thats cuz i REALLY really dig egypt and it's history).

If this had mocap cutscenes and was fully voiced like bg3 it would easily stand RIGHT beside it.
it's an amazing game esp if you enjoy 40k lore and setting - there's TONS of flavour and atmosphere.
don't listen to people moaning about combat being repetetive/boring or whatever - them mfs be playing on story mode - clearly.

uhm this is hades 1 combat flow thrown into a blender along with streets of rage or final fight (or any other 'ima go right side and send a lot of enemies to hospital).

the visuals are STELLAR. great animations. great art style.
MOREOVER - the thing you want to know - YES, it's responsive and snappy even on 160 ping with your homie from another side of the globe.

ABSOLUTLEY WORTH THE ASKING PRICE.

Online progression is how it should be done in EVERY. SINGLE. GAME.

Literally my second best game that dropped in 2025 (first bein E33 Clair Obscur - not even remotely in the same postal code as absolum genre wise but yea. the 'creators love for their creation' is prevalent here too)

TL;DR for monkee brains like me: yes. it is more fun than streets of rage 4 (unmodded) :)

its 2025 and things like major factions ai just dont work.
list of things that are broken and have been in such state (unless u mod it) is enormous.
CA should either fix the game or just abandon it if they cant and move to greener pastures

matchmaking is a psychological experiment done by chinesee party in order to see how fast they can break a western mind.
coincidentally they use similar systems in pow torture camps.

Funcom - please can you take your marketing team to the farm where all the doggies and kittens go?

entire cluster (corona borealis) just got nuked by a bug making the worm ignore all boundries and limitations and eating everyone and everything (all bases etc) including guild bases and thus guild progress and entirety of people's gear. the only thing left being 'levels'.
funcom says 'we are not doing rollbacks'.

this has to be the worst developer that ever existed on this planet at least.

game is also blatantly unfinished, deep desert is a mess, the pve content ends with story contracts, no dailies/weeklies. funcom has NO IDEA how to build it or structure even, they say things like 'we want landstraad to be endgame pve' and make it so that landstraad FORCES you to go to deep desert where the game devolves into a janky Panzer Dragoon FFA PVP. yes FFA you heard right - the allegiance is a lie - only guild alliance matters. only guild matter as entire endgame is GvG.
mark my words - this game will have the exact same lifecycle as secret world.
